Since the penalty was declined, the Chiefs will end the game with zero penalties. The Lions didn’t let it make a difference, but the NFL wasn’t going to let the Lions win. -
I don’t believe the Chiefs are more talented than the Lions. Hope they take this as a wake up call.

Not good enough from the defense tonight. And I’m not talking about the replacements. The front absolutely has to be better than this.

Who knows what the original call was, but Goff wanted the screen.

Goff can’t check into a ****ing screen on that. He’s one of the best QBs in the game but he needs to be better than that.

The irony in that call coming from the box is that the box was noticeably silent when the on-field officials clearly screwed us over in Dallas.

An ACC official resigned this year after replay came down to review a play late and the ACC office told him he needed to overturn it anyway. If we have rules, they should be followed. The rules say that the seven mf-ers on the field who are paid tens of thousands are solely responsible for that call. That’s how it should be.

He was frustrated. Smacked his helmet when he was on the ground. Needed a lot of help off the field. I don’t think he comes back tonight.

Thats just it! They DID come together. Determined it was not a penalty. Then were told otherwise by their higher powers.

Chiefs were gifted 11 points last week and the Jags made it not matter. Gotta make these 4 plus whatever else gets made up not matter.

I had a 6th row seat to that entire nonsense. Ref and sideline official came together, discussed for 30 seconds, separated. Come back together at the spot of the ball for the XP. Ref nods, then pulls a flag. That call coming from upstairs is a blatant violation of NFL rules.

So many Debbie Downers! A loss isn’t the end of the world, but we’re 4-1 for a reason. KC is 2-3 for a reason. This should be a good competitive game. FWIW I think going from Manu’a debut to Skip has a chance to be an upgrade. Skip is not Decker, but he should hold his own and not let Goff get killed. And they’re now missing their LT too.

Funny how after the NFL lied to us and told us Brad Allen didn’t completely **** up the end of the Cowboys-Lions game, they haven’t assigned him to a Lions game in two years.

I’m not sure that was the right decision. It was clearly an emotional decision. Ultimately it may have been the right call, but it probably shouldn’t have been made today.
