    Remember all of that talk about maybe the Lions can win ten this year? They barely have a strong starting 22, let alone a solid 53. Also, at what point does Ragnow get labeled “injury prone”?

    Philly’s second drive was 16 plays, 97 yards (including 15 yards of penalties) and consumed 7:55. That’s a long time to hold the ball and it exposed the weakness of the DL. In which Brad Holmes has invested a lot of resources.

    Yes. All the drops were inexcusable. Meh. He would have had a better day if his receivers held onto the ball, but he didn't really look like he knew what he was doing out there in the first half. None of them did. D'Andre Swift and the OL are the ones who played well enough to win the game.

    Bears beat Niners, Vikes beat Packers, Giants beat Titans, Lions… lose by three in a game where they give up a pick six.

    The game comes down to the pick six. Did Hock break the wrong way? Did Goff read it wrong? Why were they so out of sync after we were told how sharp Goff looked in the off-season? Did Ben get too cute in game one, or were the players to blame? In any case, Goff did not help his case for next season.

    I’m not sure they got away from the run game as much as they looked completely out of sync passing. Dropped passes, blown routes, pick six. Defense has not been great but the passing game hung them out to dry. Swift is having a great day, though. And on cue, Goff hits Reynolds in the hands. Five drops today, per Schlereth, and Goff fumbles the snap.
