  1. It's not fascism when they do it
  2. Remember when the Unified Reich was super TO'd because twitter was biased hashtag Twitter files? Matt Taibbi? 45 million examples per month of that nowadays at least
  3. There was one where someone asked him in response to one of his ridiculous tweets if he had ever read a history book and his response was "oh god no" or something like that, it was so good.
  4. yeah I liked that one too but recall it was becoming very much "buy these tshirts" than just good content. some of the shirts he sold I was surprised he wasn't getting hit with cease and desist for copyrights
  5. Bummer, sad to hear. Last I saw he became a notary republic lol
  6. Depends on the definition of "we"
  7. Cspan is getting flooded with calls about Project 2025.
  8. I miss that account. The best to ever do it.
  9. Niki Haley, also known as Nancy Pelosi, argues that a vote for Biden is a vote for Harris. I would argue that a vote for Trump is also a vote for DJ Vince (also known as JD Mandel). Precedent clearly suggests some republican will exploit republican gun laws and shoot the republican president with the Republican's favorite gun.
  10. Birds aren't real
  11. Now some of you may remember from the time he was presidon't he would pressure Jerome Powell to keep interest rates low, even while the economy was "the greatest economy anyone has ever seen". It doesn't take being an Australian school economic fictionalist to know that's inflationary.
  12. I think this is a dual level thing. I heard on Marketplace this morning that the markets are down this morning because of this. Coupled with this..... Donald Trump warns US Fed chair not to cut rates before the election https://www.ft.com/content/11bc931f-5c5e-4e3c-9ceb-9bdca25430ad He's trying to tank the market on Biden.
  13. Judicial review doesn't exist in the constitution either but these jabronies flex that power no problem
  14. they also push that words not written in 1792 magically appear as if they were written in 1792 and we're bound by it. Where in the constitution say that an amendment isn't really implemented unless the congress passes a law implementing it?!? Isn't that, shall we say, completely bassackwards? A constitutional amendment can effectively be rendered useless by the fillibuster? LMAO WTF are we even doing here Presidential immunity appears nowhere in the constitution. They made it up. There are other immunities granted by the constitution, they didn't do presidential.
  15. I read they killed a homeless man.
  16. I was reading an article where a former secret service agent was quoted talking about how the famous photo is itself possibly photo of a breakdown b/c their protocol is to basically completely cover him using their body as shield and many parts of the protectee's head and body are completely prone and unprotected from further shots in that photo. Unless the secret service knew and believed he was safe, but their subsequent actions do not suggest they believed that.
  17. Biden set to announce support for major Supreme Court changes https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/07/16/biden-supreme-court-reforms/
  18. Douthat needs a cold shower
  19. I do the low cost index funds too, I have probably 7 or 8 in vanguard. only individual stocks I have are for 2 companies I worked for, pretty cool investments as they're bought on discount but I agree with the above notion @1776 said, I don't have the time for individual company research. And I'd add that if I did have the time, I don't think I'd have the expertise to do the smart move based off that research. That pfizer scientist thing is a good example. At this point I just dollar cost average into the mutual funds.
  20. Folks, I apologize profusely to the forum. I neglected to note that the Republican event was in a Republican territory, and I also neglected to mention that the Republicans want the Republican's favorite gun to be the..... "national gun": https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/1095 Please accept my apologies.
  21. More like the LOLogan Act
  22. Republican exploits Republican pet gun policies to use Republicans' favorite gun (as evidenced by Republican lapel pins in the Republican caucus) to shoot multiple Republicans and the Republican leader at a Republican event, and the motive of the Republican shooter is unknown, and the Democrats are the ones responsible for "lowering the temperature".
  23. ETTD..... just ask Trump's new mypillow
  24. Musk donating 45 million a month to Trump Super PAC. Using his products is a choice.
  25. A lot of gun nits who disqualify others from discussions for not knowing about gun parts sure are confusing crosshairs and bullseyes
