Deal made sense for both teams. Jets had no other option. They are all in, if they get a SB out of it then it’s for sure worth it. I don’t think they will even make the playoffs, so it will end up better for the Packers. Jets will sell tickets, merchandise and get more prime time games (no SNF in like a decade), and maybe win some games. So all good for them too.

What arm limitations did Goff have? Lots of issues with Goff, but I think arm issues isn’t one of them. The narrative has been he doesn’t have a strong arm, but thats born of fiction. He can make every throw. He doesn’t improvise or run well, but he can make all the throws.

They are trying to change the culture of winning and losing. No one will give a **** about this if they start 8-2. This will all be forgotten by the second series of the first game. People who are calling this SOL are doing it reflexively. JaMo wasn’t even part of the offense last year. Now he has to wait another 6 games. He is basically a rookie and will likely turnout fine. This doesn’t really change anything, or at least it shouldn’t.

I think this is a fair return for the trade. No issue with moving on.

They aren’t getting two first round picks this year for the 3. No way. Swapping the 6 and 3, a second rounder this year and next would be the most I would pay.
