With Holmes, I don’t give a damn about draft position. I would much rather be in 9-8 than 6-11 with a better pick. It’s time to start winning games and being competitive.
Really? They never had a shot at playoffs by any measure. The games all meant the same, never once was there a chance at the playoffs with that roster.
I find it much more likely that grant is traded than not. Portland makes so much sense. They didn’t move up, dame wants grant and the blazers need to keep dame happy. Doesn’t seem like a stretch that the pistons have the 5th and 7th pick.
There is nothing ever good from being a sports fan. It’s always just losing. As much sports as I watch and I’ve witnessed one championship. Pistons in 04. Everyone is losers.
I knew you’d make a comment. That, I appreciate, even though it hurts. The leafs/lions sports fan is a tortured soul, I’m not alone.
But, now I can turn my attention to the lions. It’s football time.
Admittedly, I haven’t followed the tigers incredibly closely since I moved to Minnesota, but I did follow this off-season and generally saw quite a bit of optimism around the team. So what’s going? They don’t appear to be a competent baseball team.
