    College managers abuse pitchers with high pitch counts and short rest. I follow this team very closely and have seen none of that. The pitching injuries are bad luck. The rest of this disaster is on Hinch, Avila, and everyone else.

    Tarik Skubal will not pitch again this season for the Tigers and there is some concern with the pain in his elbow injury, per AJ Hinch. He’s in LA right now and will see a specialist next week.

    Eduardo Rodriguez at Toledo: 5IP, 1H, 0R, 1BB, 6K. Tork with 1 hit, 1 walk, and 1K in 3 ABs. Meadows hitless in 3 ABs, replaced after that.

    I will take a guy who strikes out, can't play defense, but also has a decent ISO. Right now, we have guys who don't get on base, strikeout a lot, and don't slug.

    Al is not surviving. The question is if they go outside the org to find a replacement.

    At this point, the results don’t matter. Manning had the best outing of his career. The offense sucks and Soto imploded in a non save situation. But they have to use him because the bullpen is overtaxed. Good bullpens are a waste on a horrific team. Avila thinks he can get more value for them at a later point in time.
