    The value you get back was not significant enough to sacrifice contention in 2026. They signed Framber and wanted to win.. Trading him was a bad business move.

    Gleyber seems to be ok..can pinch hit tonight and won't be put on the IL. McKinstry will be activated tomorrow or go back down for a few more rehab starts.

    lol...they wanted to try and win this year. And they aren't going to sign him. It was just a roll of the dice. Thankfully they play in a terrible division...and the offense seems to be much improved.

    Skubal scratched from tonight's start...Hinch to addres the media shortly. Heyman says its precautionary.

    Starting pitching is good...offense is decent. Not great on the margins. That's why you have to win high leverage games like last night.

    same pitch in Arizona, Cincy, and Atlanta...definition of insanity etc. I don't know what their bullpen design is about. Nobody misses bats consistently..I just don't get it.

    Based on Hinch’s comments, Mize got decent news and will miss a few starts…Baez timeline unknown…. I would guess mid to late June.

    They will both probably go on the IL..the Baez injury in paritcular doesn't seem to be a break..maybe just a high ankle sprain.

    Once a righty enters, they can't pinch hit for Vierling because they don't have another option in CF.

    Flaherty has to eat this and give them a few more innings. They need to save their bullpen for tomorrow. Guessing he's out of the rotation in the next turn...they have an off day and can do an opener.
