The Tigers are a max 90-92 win team. They were never 15 games better than Cleveland. I expect them to clinch this very deliberately. It will be annoying and stupid. Seattle is on a hot streak but I would like to hold them off for the bye.

Vierling has been shutdown after a setback, Finnegan close to going out on a rehab assignment. Sewald close to getting his chance.

Just don't get swept and we are fine. They called up Hurter and optioned Hannifee sometime yesterday. I wonder if they are keeping Skubal the chamber...if they lose the first two. Otherwise, his start can be pushed.

I would almost guarantee they are not going 'all-in' on 2026. The entire ethos is about sustainability and long term success. What I want to see them do is make some baseball trades and improve their pitching depth.

Morton is a polished version of Paddack..he throws hard and misses bats. But he still can’t locate consistently and gives up ev bombs just the same. Hinch has had enough of it so he is done.

If they get good run prevention, they will have a chance in most games because the offense is pretty good. If not, they will exit early in the playoffs.
