Realistically, I want to know how many roster spots are available right now.... I'm guessing 4, maybe 5? So anything above that we are just drafting cut guys..... Doesn't make a lot of sense. If they can get 3 first rounders and a 2nd or 3rd, that'd be a good deal imo. Or trade 6 back closer to 20 but pickup a 1st next year. I still think there's good additions we can use late in this draft. Or say we get 20 (hypothetically) and a 1st next year for 6. Package 18 or 20 with a second to get back up to the teens and then you basically traded a 2nd rounder for a 1st next year and set us up all over again........

I wouldn't be opposed to trading pick 6 all the way back so we get another 1st next year. Not sure where that'd fall but I'm guessing around 18. Pick up Bijan and best CB available. That'd be cool. Then have two 1sts next year to play with/draft a QB if needed after this year. What a pipe dream......

Watch him become a Pro-Bowler this year....... I think he'll be a top 15 Corner in the NFL this year. Just a hunch.

The Lions need to NOT give up on Okudah so early..... Give him another year if there's cap space. I think he'll be above average next year.... still too early to give up on him.

I saw that too. I'd love for that draft to happen for us though. Usually rounds 4-7 are almost always complete crapshoots anyways. If we walked away with Anderson, Bijan, Hooker and Denton.... That'd be a solid draft. Heck just Anderson and Bijan would be a great draft in and of itself.

Just curious. Are there any good QB's coming out next year? A lot of people are going for these 4 guys. But whose next year? (I'm assuming JJ McCarthy is 2 years away). Would be interesting to see though. Maybe next years the year we trade for a QB......

Yes...... I'm sorry. If he's the best prospect in the draft, he should be able to complete the drills from his pro-day in his sleep. I am very worried about drafting this dude if it happens.

Besides Hooker (I think he's projected round 2 or 3), is there any QB prospect that could be a starter "down the road" kinda like Richardson that could be a serviceable backup QB for us for the next 5-7 years that we could get in rounds 4-7? If he turns into a starter great, but if he's just a competent backup, then that works great anyways on a rookie contract? Anyone like that available to any of ya'lls knowledge?

I now want the Lions to trade down. Everything I'm reading about Carter tells me to pass. He may be a great player, but if he gets arrested in a year, what the heck do we do then? So I'll pass on him. Let's trade back and just draft what we can. Get as many assets as possible at this point. I would love to get another pick in the teens and do something like a CB and Bijan in the teens and then have maybe another 2nd or 3rd rounder to play with for a LB. I'd also be happy if they got one of the two Linebackers that are supposed to be good (jack Campbell is the only one I know but theres another rated higher than him....). At this point, lets just get overall depth. Tyree Wilson is who I want now at 6 if we don't trade out. Maybe I'm crazy. But Pass on Jalen imo.

I like Hooker in the 2nd. Good value and I think he'd be workable by our coaches when he gets healthy.

What would this look like (sorry I don't know value's of NFL draft picks)? Something like pick 18-30 + a 1st next year or is that too high?
