The best argument for drafting Clark over Langford is that Riger on 97.1 is carping about picking Clark over Langford. Riger is the epitome of a contra indicator.
Re Madden...he's repeating a level. Tough to argue that isn't a negative for him

Texans are closing on a trade for Stefon Diggs

Jan Bednar is the ECHL goalie of the month for March!!

Yes but it's still evidence presented without defense. Look, I'm not trying to argue that Sutton shouldn't've been arrested here. Nor am I arguing that arrest warrants should be argued and defended before they are issued. That's not the purpose of an arrest warrant.
I'm just saying that it's entirely possible that the evidence looks worse than it really is or that the part of the evidence (ie statements made to police) could be false. That's why after the arrest the case goes through the court system.
Yes...that's what the presumption of innocence entails.

The report referenced on 97.1 last night. Craig Berube? Interesting...

The other 2nd rd dman...Gibson ..has had a great year. Won't turn 20 until after Jan 2025...so he's locked into jr next year. Unless he somehow makes the Wings
That Leddy trade looks better all the time.

When Tampa was controlling the play for so long in the third period...I did not think we were even getting a point.
Some rumblings on 97.1 before the game the game regarding a possible change behind the bench after the season

This is correct. A judge looks at the evidence and signs the warrant. It's not just the police deciding to arrest him.
I think they run it by the prosecutor b4 the judge...that' three sets of eyes looking at the same evidence

Wright is guaranteed 6 mil. So his deal is more like 2yrs for 8 million.

Cossa consecutive point run continues ....17 straight after a 2-1 OT loss this weekend. GW goal came on a 4 on 3 OT pp for Lake Erie

They've apparently called up Zach Ashton Reese....

In five years with the Lions Baker had 74 sacks. ...56.5 in his first 3 years. I knew he had a lot of sacks because I watched him play..had no idea he had so many

I think it will come down to us or Philly

Griffs lock up a playoff spot with a 5-2 win. Cossa extends his point streak to a franchise record 16 games (11-0-5)
Walleye clinched their division with a 3-2 win

Berggren is...I think...an RFA. Would not be surprised to see him go back to Sweden next year.

Bubba Baker...

Veleno is fine as a 4th line C...he just doesn't have the skill to play top six...which he has to do when Larkin is hurt. Petry....no. Would rather see Tuomisto than Petry or Holl playing that RHD spot on the 2nd or 3rd pair.

I would hope Cossa gets some NHL action next year...or sooner if we drop too far back of a playoff spot

Earl Weaver used to say you won with three things...pitching, defense and three run HR's

Cossa and Wallstedt carried 1st rd grades that year...its rare that any goalie carries a rd 1 grade. Trying to determine depth of draft vs rating on a year by year basis is pretty subjective....not sure it can be done until years in the future
At any rate...both of our top goalie prospects had great weekends
Cossa picked up a point in his 15th straight game...something that hasn't been done in GR since 2002 and Augustine was selected most outstanding player in the B1G tournament.
Goalie was a system wide weakness when Yzerman took over. Like a lot of postions..we have some depth now

The lack of news on Sutton's whereabouts leads me to think there's some back channel discussions going on. Or...he's cut ties with everyone around him and done a runner
