At least with Miggy there were milestones to achieve ...drama to keep us interested.  What milestone is Baez aiming for?

Risacher is OK but he doesn't sniff the top 5 in most normal drafts.  I worry he has a small frame and wont be able to add muscle to play PF.  Right now I would say he is more of a wing.

Sam Vecenie has Risacher #1.  But he says he doesn't have a good first step and can't create his own shot.  It seems odd taking a catch and shoot specialist as #1.

I liked the idea of Risacher at first...but the more i read about him he sounds like he could be the French Emoni Bates

Cade and Simone were a combined 9/20 on threes last night...the rest of the team was something like 2/22.

Pens are said to prefer prospects over picks for Jake Guentzel...might be worth a run at him to boost the top 6

They're a playoff team...just not an elite playoff team.  Need to get better at handling chippy, physical play.  Refs were awful...flat out ignored a lot of interference, cross checking and tripping calls...but you have to be ready for that.

Chiarot and Petry...might work as a third pair.  Hanifan would be a great addition to the top 4...but we need a decent RHD for that pair. Unless you go with 2 LHD on the 2nd pair.  Worked with Stuart and Lidstrom

Looking at his youtube hilights....he did a really good job occupying blockers and tracking the ball on running plays.  He played way too upright in college...as tall as he is, they will eat him up trying that in the nfl

Blues and the Caps are decent hockey teams.  The Wings aren't just beating them...they're clowning them

One guy I want to hear about is RHD Gibson...he seems to be having a break out season in his draft +1 year

Wheeler in the Athletic is counting down the top prospect pools...revealing one team a day.  The Wings will be somewhere in the top 3.  He's been somewhat dismissive of Cossa as a prospect...it will be interesting to see if his AHL performance changes that perception

Tuomisto I see as a 3rd pairing defensive guy I think. Maybe as early as next year.

In two years, as Andersson's contract ends... I think the next gen would be ready with ASP/ Gibson/ Johansson pressing out of GR for some NHL time...

But 2024-2026 could be Seider/ Andersson/ Tuomisto on the right side...

I'm focused on this season...this team is built for the playoffs.  Edvinsson might be a factor next year...Tanev gives us a veteran RHD to solidify the top 4 at a manageable cost.  I dont think Calgary trades Andersson this season...he's young and on affordable contract.  That's an asset you keep unless someone offers you a ridiculous haul.
