  1. Coffey was one of the best skaters I've ever seen...
  2. HOF TE Charlie Sanders deserves a mention as well
  3. For me...4th is a close call between Delvecchio, Kelly and Sawchuk.
  4. Mitchell and Wiggins...not to be confused with former Rocket SG MItchell Wiggins...are the 2 CB's I'd want to see them draft in RD 1
  5. Lanier...Zeke...Laimbeer edges Joe D. Grant Hill and Cade Cunningham are two of the most gifted players I've seen in Pistons uni's going back to the 70's, but they don't have the longevity. Another extremely talented player that threw it away by becoming an addict was the late, great Marvin Barnes. He was James Worthy with a jump shot
  6. Since I started watching in 1970...Barry, Calvin and Lem Barney. Barney claims to be the only member of the Football HOF to have a gold record. He and Mel Farr did backing vocals on Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin On"
  7. In my fandom...roughly 1970 to today...I would say Miggy,Tram and Lou with Verlander,Lolich and Morris on the mound
  8. Cossa statistical oddity...this is the third straight year he's posted a .913 save percentage. Too bad about the prospect tournament...that and the red/white scrimmage after the draft are part of my summer hockey fix on youtube
  9. Delvecchio and Red Kelly deserve some mention...along with Federov
  10. That or brother vs brother...which is kinda the same thing
  11. Salt Lake City has a long history of supporting minor league hockey....but so did Phoenix. Although the arena issue may have been a bigger problem than fan support in Phoenix. If Phoenix gets a building and another team..they shoukd definitely be xalled the Roadrunners
  12. We owe a pick still...if we fall far enough in this dog of a draft...just send it out to the Knicks if you can't trade it
  13. I'm looking forward to seeing Tuomisto this summer in the prospect camps and next fall. He's RH...really big...skates well has a cannon shot and has a bit of an edge. Started the year in Toledo and moved to GR and carved out a bigger role as the season went on.
  14. Capfriendly says they have $28 million. That might be enough to fit Raymond, Seider and a impact acquisition
  15. If Kane, Sprong and Perron leave...I'd like to see them add a legit 30+ goal scorer like Guentzel, Reinhart or even Stamkos. Plug in that one big FA signing and move up Kasper and Mazur. Fischer should be resigned We also need to upgrade goal from Husso. On D..be nice to bring back ghost. The contracts on D are short enough that that unit will sort itself out over the next couple of years
  16. If they start relegating vets in p!ace of youth...they might regress a bit, but be better positioned for the future. Petry and Matta have 1 year left, Chiarot and Holl have two. These contracts aren't going to horribly difficult to offload. Not sure Lalonde should be back. Two straight years of horrible play at clutch time is disquieting
  17. Shai Buium has signed a three year entry level deal beginning next year...reporting to the Griffs on a PTO.
  18. Ken Holland is a HOF candidate as a GM...Weaver is not a HOF candidate
  19. Yep...will be interesting to see who comes back and who moves on. I'm mixed on Kane and Perron... Sprong is a goner...Fabbri is signed for a year and reasonably productive... Veleno is an RFA...edge to Fabbri on the bottom six. Will Kasper and Mazur be ready to make the jump? Defense needs an overhaul...Ghost should be back...he's so good o the PP. Seider and Edvinsson are the future (along with ASP) Are guys like Wallinder and Tuomisto (both have played several years now in Europe and NA against men) ready to challenge?. Cossa is the future in net... Lyon, Reimer and Husso are all question marks to on extent or another Husso and Lyon are both signed for next year...Husso even when healthy hasn't exactly set the world on fire. Assuming Cossa is in GR again, I'm not too excited about Husson or Lyon as the starter. Lyon maybe as a back up. I assume Reimer will not be back How much cap will new deals for Seider and Raymond consume? Will there be enough left to make an impact FA addition? Stamkos may be out there...Reinhart may be out there..Guentzel would add some pop to the top six. Dylan Larkin's old buddy Tyler Bertuzzi is a UFA... Would not be surprised if we backslide a bit next year as more of the young talent moves in..if that's the direction they go in
  20. That missed call on Copp's broken cheek bone looms all the larger. Maye this is the year we get some lotto luck and jump the 10 spaces up to five.
  21. Who is this Sports Professor guy on Bally's...I've never heard of him. So how much of a professor can he be?
  22. The guys with the bats in their hands
