Rumor has it Stamkos could be had for a number 1..has a no trade clause...IIRC. Think the Stevie love is strong enough for him? Copp ios doing alright as the 2C..but Stamkos would be an upgrade and his right handedness would give us a hedge against Danielson not advancing as a prospect main drawback is his contract..runs through 27/28 with an $8 million per cap hit

ASP looked good last night..as did Ras and Elmer. Played with a lot of jam..Avs had a very difficult time in the neutral zone If I could get two guys off bad teams it would be Kevin Bahl from Calgary and Thomas from the Blues. Although Gavrikov and Panarin from the Rangers would be cool too

SY will have as many as two more chances to get Hughes...when the Wild realize this summer that he won't sign with them, they will possibly want to move him. When they don't sign him and he becomes a free agent, Sy can swoop in and make him an offer.

Rangers have told Panarin they will not offer him an extension and they're open to trade offers. Wouldn't mind taking a flier on him to beef up our 5x5 scoring
