    Saw a mock draft online that has us taking HS OF Slater de Brun in the first round and college RHP Riley Quick from Bama at 34. De Brun bats left...this would be the 4th year in a row a LHH was drafted in rd 1 and the third straight year a HS position player was drafted 1st

    I think Compher regressing...Tarasenko sucking and Rasmussen disappointing were their biggest issues. That and they actually had to play Holl and Gustafsson

    I think they liked Danielson because he is a RH C with decent size, good skating and some offensive capability. Wood is a good sized wing..but his skating was a huge ?. Benson is skilled,,,but small. Ryan Leonard was another guy that fit what they were apparently looking for , but he went one slot before Danielson

    Pacheco's SLG% is up considerably this year...he was said to have plus power when he was drafted, could it be finally translating into game action. Osorio is an interesting SS prospect...signed for $2.2 million a few years ago.

    Old enough to have seen prime Lolich, Morris, Verlander and Max in Detroit. Skubal is right there with them..if not better. Dominant start today

    Skubal is an established ace..Skenes hasn't even pitched 200 innings yet. Maybe he's going to continue to blow people away...or maybe he's Kerry Wood. I wouldn't trade that much positional talent for a pitcher unless he had a metal arm that guy in the Avengers movies

    Soto deal also included Josh Bell who was in the midst of an 800+ OPS season in DC at the time of the deal. Market for Skubal last year wasn't nearly as robust...
