  1. I'll say this for Ivey...he has been playing with a lot more urgency lately.  Still not playing great but this is the hardest I have seen him play over a period of several games, including his time at Purdue.  He just doesn't have a great feel for the game though.  Mental errors and sloppy ball handling/passing are a continual problem.

  2. Glad Vecenie went on rant.  It's good people not part of the Detroit media are bringing light that something is rotting inside this organization.

Interesting take on Weaver doubling down on his mistakes.  It seems spot on.  The fact Killian is still around is insane.

I don't hold Cade and Ivey too much against Weaver yet though.  The Pistons can start exploring trades but it's too early to sell low on those guys.  There may be an element of coaching and development that we should be more concerned about with those two.

listening to another pistons pod today with them talking about how the pistons cut off access if you dont say nice things about them.  which makes sense considering the tone of the beat reporters.

langlois i understand because he works for the team.  he's not going to badmouth them.  jeiii is weaver's mouthpiece and must be getting info from him.  the news and freep guys have actually been forced to be more critical the past week after a year of excuses.

If this is true, then there is very little hope for the future.  This is terrible leadership, whether it's coming from Gores or somebody else.  If it's coming from somebody else, Gores needs to get rid of them immediately.

so bogey is cooked and livers sucks.  the two guys we were told the team was relying on and who would have made so much of a difference if they werent hurt to start the year.

they refused to trade bogey last year or in the offseason.  why?  so they could watch the redictable decline of a mid-30s unathletic shooter?  and then doubled down by trading for broken joe harris?

    basketball malpractice going on here.

I don't see Bogey's trade value being much less now than it was last year.  Their asking price was too high last year and the Pistons need to lower it but they should be able to get equal or close to what they could have got last year.

It's our young guys that I would be concerned about their value.
