Guys that can get to the rim, hit the open jumper, and plays good defense can lead a team.

Yeah I hear ya there, my good friend bought courtside tix to see Curry earlier this year cause that is his son's favorite player only for Steph to sit out. I guess Steph came and talked to them and a bunch of other folks that had Warriors gear on to sorta make up for it which I thought was cool.
Ouch.
You almost have to wait until game day and make sure your guy is playing. Then buy tickets on the secondary market.

Yep, if Del is in the area I'm sure he's got front row seats to see his boy!
I wish. Guys get rested so much now I'm afraid to buy tickets. My luck I go when Luka and Cade would both be sitting.

Givony and Schmitz released their latest mock. Normally they are some of the best in the business. But Mathurin at #12 seems insane. I would sell my soul to get an extra pick and snatch him at 12.
- Houston Rockets: Chet Holmgren | Gonzaga | 7-0 | PF | Age: 19.9
- Orlando Magic: Jabari Smith | Auburn | 6-10 | SF/PF | Age: 18.8
- Detroit Pistons: Paolo Banchero | Duke | 6-10 | PF/C | Age: 19.3
- Oklahoma City Thunder: Jaden Ivey | Purdue | 6-4 | PG/SG | Age: 20.1
- Indiana Pacers: Keegan Murray | Iowa | 6-9 | PF/C | Age: 21.6
- Portland Trail Blazers: Shaedon Sharpe | Kentucky | 6-6 | SG | Age: 18.8
- Sacramento Kings: Johnny Davis | Wisconsin | 6-5 | PG/SG | Age: 20.1
- New Orleans Pelicans (from Lakers): AJ Griffin | Duke | 6-6 | SF/PF | Age: 18.6
- San Antonio Spurs: Jalen Duren | Memphis | 6-10 | C | Age: 18.3
- Washington Wizards: Dyson Daniels | G League Ignite | 6-6 | PG/SG | Age: 19.0

Yeah, I would take Mathurin over Davis. But Davis could be the second guard off the board and I don't think it is crazy to think he could end up one of the better players in the draft. Great shot maker, gets to the rim, nice mid-range game. Just lacks the three point shot, like 90% of the players in the draft.

Trying to generate some clicks.

The Lakers will most likely lose their pick this year. It has protections on it for 11-30, meaning if it is top 11 they lose it. They will actually need to drop a couple of spots in the lottery to keep it. Someone said there is about a 0.4% chance it happens.
-
The Lakers just lost to the Suns and are now officially eliminated from the playoffs. They cant even make the play in game.

OKC came back from 18 down midway through the 4th I believe with one of the worst lineups I've ever seen an NBA team put on the court. Hell, I don't even think that team would make the playoffs in the G League.
They aren't even hiding it anymore. They signed two G-League guys today and started them.

OKC beat Portland tonight.

Green had 30 tonight. His fifth straight game with at least 30 points.

Is he sitting to protect his scoring title lead?

Sam Vecenie posted a new mock on April 1st. He has said multiple times who goes first will really depend on which teams gets the #1 pick. No clear cut #1 like Cade last year. He does have Detroit taking Bachero but he also said team needs are not taken into account yet.
Smith
Chet
Banchero
Ivey
Murray
Mathurin
Griffin
Duren
Sochan
Davis

I suppose it is possible more teams are interested next year and that might drive the price up a bit. But not sure I would count on that.

I never tip on takeout. That is not what tipping is for.
I do tip on delivery because I know those folks don't make shit and usually have to drive their own vehicle.

As far as Weaver not wanting to rush a trade. Portland already traded away their original first round pick. Meaning they could not trade the Pelicans pick at the deadline. So it was never an option.
If it happens, it will be a deal agreed to before the draft, Portland will make the pick for us, and the trade will be completed once the new business season starts in July.

We do not allow tipping for carryout or delivery. We do charge a delivery fee but when you pay on our site with a CC there is no spot to add a tip. Obviously, we can't police if you tip one of our drivers in cash. But we make it clear in multiple places that we do not accept tips.

Any picks obtained should be for future drafts, not this one. I have no desire to get another pick in this draft.

Green has been pretty impressive scoring wise lately but even with him scoring like he has the Rockets are still playing better with him off the court.
He's basically living up to what people thought he would be and that is an elite scorer but doesn't bring much else to the table.
His ISO defense has been fantastic. Last week he clamped Murray down in those last two possessions and was very impressive doing so.
I don't have access to the stats. But multiple people have said Green ranks #1 for the rookies in ISO defense.

That is a lot of DRS for the weekend.

2022 NBA Draft Prelude
in Detroit Pistons

They have Mark Williams at #11.
I don't hate or love Murray. He should be a solid role player type. Honestly, I feel that way about most of the players in this draft. Such an odd draft.
