The two finals teams only have 4 top 10 picks on their roster/rotations. Neither teams star is a top 10 pick. So you find plenty of talent in later rounds. Plus, I've never seen any evidence less NBA picks make than other sports. Small rosters and longer careers skew opinions I think.

Game 2 had the lowest ratings for a game 2 since 1988. But maybe we're looking at this wrong. Sunday's game was still the highest rated thing on TV for the entire weekend. And its ratings were 50% higher than #2. People don't watch as much TV as they once did.
