    Nets just traded for Bufkin. They still have plenty of money to outbid Detroit for Beasley if they want. Detroit can offer $7.2 million If I remember correctly.

    I agree, less info is bad. At the end of the day I would probably pick keeping the costs in exchange for more info. But I have completely given up on the stock market so either way it won't impact me.

    Good info in there. I also don't think it allows for more long term planning. Management will still make decisions based off of stock performance. Stock prices are even more short term than quarterly reports.

    Basically, 2/$45 million because third year is a team option. No team on earth is going to exercise that third year. It does represent some movement by GSW thought. They were offering a team option on year 2. He wants any option to be a player option. GSW has not made any moves this summer. They have to settle this before they can do anything. Most feel Al Horford will sign with them when this is finalized.

    That CNN article is not well done. The Tariffs are an issue for sure, but the major problem for coffee prices right now is drought. https://www.npr.org/2024/12/17/nx-s1-5228008/coffee-prices-brazil-drought-weather These are the two most imported beans in the US. Again, this is from December. Same thing with beef prices. The tariffs are contributing to a problem that was there long before they were introduced. Beef prices have been rising steadily since 2021. Drought again is a big problem, with US herd size the smallest it has been in decades. Low herd inventory ripples through U.S. beef market
