  1. Blaha goes into the Basketball Hall of Fame tomorrow (Saturday). Pretty sure it starts at 7PM and will be shown on NBATV.
  2. So basically one of two things happened. 1) These guys took Ballmer for $50 million. They immediately turned around and gave $48 million of that money to Ballmer's star basketball player. Con men are usually pretty generous and giving, so that could be. or 2) Ballmer paid these guys a $2 million fee to funnel $48 million to his basketball player to circumvent the salary cap. Steve Ballmer denies allegations of Kawhi Leonard, Clippers circumventing salary cap
  3. 22k added on 75k expected. So a big miss on an already low expected number.
  4. More interesting question. Where was Lip-Bu Tan? None of the articles I read listed him as attending.
  5. I will only support this if it's local 420. Cannabis workers strike to form union in Ann Arbor
  6. Alright, fine. Get the soup!
  7. I realize he probably won't be there that long. But this is a great way to turn future recruits off to your program.
  8. Detroit could raise up to $50M a year with admissions tax on sports, entertainment events, study finds
  9. CPI will be next Thursday. A big spike could cause some people to pause on the rate cut.
  10. Never bet there, and I don't bet the NFL at all. But -103 are good odds. At -110 you have to win about 52.4% of your bets to break even. -103 brings it down to about 50.7%.
  11. This is interesting NBA Europe franchise fees likely to exceed $500M
  12. Depends on what he means by defense spending. New planes/tanks/guns? No. Rebuilding our manufacturing base so we can build those things? Yes. Especially when it comes to ship building.
  13. How so?
  14. Stephen Miran is in front of the Senate today seeking confirmation for fed governor. This is the seat left open when Kugler retired, not the seat Trump maybe opened up by firing Cook.
  15. ADP print 54K vs 68K expected. Some are saying 73K expected, either way its a miss. That is private sector only, obviously.
  16. That is pretty big news. Means a few things for Brooklyn, none of them are good. Thomas is now going to be unrestricted next summer. Brooklyn would be smart to trade him this season. Problem is, signing the QO gives him a no trade clause. They can still trade him, but now they have to consider how he feels about the destination so he will waive his NTC.
  17. I will stick with the gamblers. I understand and can explain that. Plus, I made a lot of money doing it. Pretty sure I would lose my butt trying to invest in Crypto.
