My guy on camera shooting a switch. A prosecutor 30 minutes out of law school would be able to convict him. He can't even claim self-defense.

We all make fun of the Wizards, well, because they are the Wizards. But getting off of that Beal contract might be the best move any GM has made in the last decade.

The TPE would have been nice. But I will settle for not getting Monk.

Someone on Reddit made a post last week. In something like 10 years, Detroit has created 17 TPE's and only used 2 of them in that time. One was used the day it was created. So, nice to get it no matter what. But odds say we won't use it. Flexibility is nice, though.

I thought they said Schroder would be a S&T even if it ends up not including Monk. Guess not. Still can change until Schroder signs.

Pretty sure that trade was demanded by ownership. Believe it or not, the Pelicans were going to be in the luxury tax this year. That trade got them out of it and saved ownership over $20 million in a tax bill next season. To do that, they had to take on a few extra years of Poole compared to the CJ contract but at a lower AAV which keeps them out of the luxury tax.

The league is trying a new rule in summer league. End of quarter heaves will still count on team stats, but will not count for the player taking the last second desperation shot. This is to protect a players shooting percentage. I imagine they will see how this works and implement it next season if it goes well. Here is how heaves will be defined:

His biggest problem was Houston switching to win now mode the year he was drafted. He needs reps and time on the court and couldn't get that with how Houston was built. This will be a great move for him.

Quite a few of them are good. Bud has a title. Hammon has two WNBA titles. Udoka is a top coach if he can keep his **** in his pants. Brown, well opinions vary. Borrego didn't do that hot in Charlotte, but does anyone? He is a top assistant and supposedly NYK and NO are fighting over his services right now. PJ and Mesina are odd ones to put on there. Both are good but both were already head coaches before hooking up with Pop. Too early to judge Mitch Johnson. Probably the same with Will Hardy. Brett Brown has titles in other leagues.
