Price finished in the top 10 of MVP voting 4 different seasons.  That would be a huge homerun if Detroit got that at #5 in this draft.  

Can Sheppard play PG? I think I like him better there with his small size. 

For another $25K he could have chucked the ball at some fans.

He can still turn it around.  But Giddey is a good example of why you want to see your young guys in the playoffs before you have to offer them big extensions.

Never watched Sheppard play.  But he appears to be a much better shooter.  52% from three is bananas, even in college.  

He has more steals, which doesn't necessarily mean he plays good defense.  

Sheppard is about to turn 20 and Sasser is about to turn 24.  

Sheppard's spirit hasn't been crushed yet by playing for a terrible organization.

So Kentucky had two midget guards and one of the most overrated coaches ever.  No wonder they lost to Oakland.  

Those shooting drills are useless.  Pretty sure I read he did bad in the 3/4 court sprint and agility drills.  But I guess that is to be expected from someone so big.

Not sure how bad his injury is.  Probably the worst playoff game I ever watched from Luka.  Him and Kyrie combined for 1 point in the final 7 minutes.

What did Sheppard measure?  Because I swear the woman interviewing him at the lottery was about the same height.

we all dis KAT because he's a pussy who chokes in the playoffs, but in the regular season he's a monster.  

you cant discount how important those two players are to a rebuilding team.  getting #1 twice helped them immensely.  

once you have your stars in place, you go make trades to bring in the final pieces.  that's what minny has done.

and lets be honest, they may be about to be bounced in 6 games now that denver is awake.  and the only reason they are still in it is because their #1 OVERALL DRAFT PICK is shining.

Not saying the draft isn't important.  Just saying it isn't the be-all and end-all that people think it is.  Sam Presti would have two fistfuls of rings if the draft was everything.  Nobody does it as good as he does .  

I do agree it is your best shot at landing a star.  Especially for a team in a not so attractive location.
