    Let me toss this out there. Say Detroit gets the #1 pick and Luka demands a trade. Would ya? I mean it will cost you Victor plus Ivey and I imagine at least two future 1st round picks. But its Luka. Luka and Cade together would be a lot of fun. Both are buckets and both can average 10 assists per game. You can put the ball in either ones hands at the end of a game. You still have Stew, Duren, Bey, and Hayes if he continues to improve. But here is the kicker. Luka is the only one on a huge contract. So you have space to sign another max guy. Or split it up and sign two really good, but not max guys. With Luka we would be a free agent destination. I would do it in a heartbeat.

    Watching last nights Mavs game against Houston. Luka is insane. 50 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists in the win. He shot 56% from the field and 50% from three, so it was not a chuck fest. Dallas is awful and without Luka would challenge Detroit for the worst record in the league. Of course 3 of their 5 starters last night were former Pistons, so that makes sense. They have done a horrible job building around Doncic. I wont be shocked if he demands a trade this summer.

    Eh, free agents are tough for a bad team. No max player is coming here. Anyone else will need to be overpaid so you have to be careful you don't end up with a Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva situation. They might be better off continuing to take on contracts for assets like they did with Burks.

My biggest complaint is they have done nothing to develop their cloud services. They are really falling behind Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc.

    I guess that would depend on your opinion of Burks. I think getting a 40% three-point shooter for two second round picks + paying Noel for a year is pretty good value. Noel also has a little trade value at the deadline and/or end of the season. The Pistons have a team option on Noel for next year so they can cut him this summer for nothing. A team looking to dump salary could be interested in trading for him to do so. Assuming they have something Detroit wants or will take on for picks.

    We traded for Noel. The Knicks wanted/needed to clear cap space to sign Brunson. We used our cap space to take on Burks and Noel so NY could create that space for Brunson. They also sent us two second round picks and we sent them four second round picks.

    All the players who spoke out against Robert Sarver are probably going to speak out against this. Right?

    I think "buying opportunity" gets thrown around way too much. But, Apple at or near its 52 week low certainly is attractive.
