  1. Mr. Wanna-Peace-Prize is determined to kill our children.  The young men & women in the military are being deployed as his own private army on what ever money-making whim crossed his addled brain this week.
Oh, and take over Venezuela’s oil industry, because why not.. just the spoils of war - directly into his pocket and those of the kings of the oil industry.

And stop a minuscule amount of drug trafficking . But the pictures will make him happy.

I want to know what they consider suspicious so that I can do it.

I’m going to guess that as I explore up & down the various highways in the northern confines of my new home base in Delaware.. frantically searching for elusive Italian delicatessen that can create my favorite sandwich (eggplant, mozzarella & broccoli rabe w/balsamic glaze), this could be suspicious activity?? What will they think when I have to make the extraordinary decision to cross over state lines & waterways of Philadelphia to extend my search area?

I will, perhaps at moments, break into weird sounding foreign dialects….. both uttered when I am failing to get my search specifications understood, AND when I make a breakthrough and get the exact coordinates of my final destination.

There will be furtive, suspicious behavior as I look to smuggle stated delicacy back to the First State.

After all, my family motto often uttered by the Neopolitans and Sicilians on my father’s side -  “ Que mangia ne morte”, which is of course a lie, but anything you’re saying in Italian sounds wise. Even when it’s nonsensical and could get me escorted into an ice truck for my suspicious behavior, coupled with my insistence for speaking non -American.

But sometimes you just gotta have that eggplant mozzella and broccoli rabe sandwich.  You just gotta.

  3. …. And there it is. Because the files are now part and parcel of a pending investigation, they’ll be no release of file that haven’t been sorted, hand picked, and blacked out.

so ****ing predictable. Anyone paying attention knew that as soon as Trump directed Bondi rw:  “investigating the Democrat names” in the file, that this was going to be the outcome.

what needs to be done now, is that some brave souls in the congressional house stand up and voluntarily read names in that hall that are provided to them by the survivors. Take 10+days if you need to (no hell. take 20+ days), but just one after the other - representatives should just read a list of names.

  4. This perpetuation of the lie “there’s been all kinds of voter fraud!!” is so freaking idiotic.  The amount of time, money, & energy being spent to mollify a horde of Chicken Littles is ridiculous and some brave soul needs to step up and call it DONE.

Epically stupid.  There is no “broken” to fix.

  5. And today’s visitor will be the Saudi crown prince Muhammad bin Salman…who will of course be bringing some “gift”, not to the American people, but to the Trump family.

which murdering bastard gets invited next week?

    absolutely disgusting.

"Barely legal" is the same kind of thinking that got us terms like "underaged women."

I swear to God, LaceyLou, the first person, man or woman who speaks to me, face-to-face, and refers to a 13/14/15 year-old as an “underage woman”, I will have a very difficult time not being physical with them.

When did decent human beings revert back to this mindset?  It’s beyond appalling but additionally , so very depressing.

I see that someone described the look on Trump’s face as “a few sandwiches short of a picnic”.  (that’s an expression I’d never heard before. It’s fitting.)

So, funny story about Erika Kirk that all my female co-workers and my wife spotted.  She touched his hair.   That's not normal platonic behavior.  And behold a secret to female psychology revealed Dan Brown style

Yeah. That’s a fairly intimate gesture.

A couple of years ago we saw To Kill a Mocking Bird with Richard Thomas. Once again well attended (Trump would have never let that production in). We were back the next night for The Band's Visit.

The Center could use a little refreshing, but Trump has taken away a lot of performances, and many have canceled. What's left very few people want to attend.

His next step will be to tear it down and put up another Trump gold plated spa.
    You know, because. Just because.
    Everybody says he should.

  10. It’s amazing to think that 83years ago,  Isaac Asimov had this insight into an AI world.

I’m not all that confident that the code that is part and parcel of AI programming give a damn about rule #3.

Or, just share this info on whatever social media platform you use.  For sure, there will be folks who may have real difficulties in the very near timeframe.

This is not an IQ test it’s the standard test to measure dementia and whether you’re capable to be left alone with sharp objects, young children and puppies. I’ve had a couple of these as part of a pre lung transplant assessment

Yeah, once you pass a certain age, your yearly physical includes the doctor beginning the appointment telling you 3 words that she/he will ask you to say back to her/him  at the end of the appointment.  Since they inform you that they’ll ask for the word retrieval a bit later, you should be able to commit them to memory fairly easily, but, for sure I repeated them to myself more than a couple of times because I know when I’m home, I leave a room to retrieve something in another room… and totally forget what that “something” was. A lot. Happens a LOT. 😂

But, since Trump lies all the time, I have no confidence that he was able to recall his words…. I’m sure he just threatened the doctor. Because that’s who he is.Always.

About 6 weeks  ago this guy started getting sick and throwing up. Then he stopped eating. A bunch of tests and few thousand dollars later we still don’t know what it was. Doctor thought it was addisons disease which would have meant forever treatment. It wasn’t. She knew of a parasite with similar symptoms so we treated it as if it were that. I swear at one point I figured we were going to lose him. I had already told myself that.  He was on prednisone and going out every hour. One night he’d just go out there and lay down. I had to put his leash on to simulate a walk and that got him back in. He would only eat chicken if we made it and barely any at that.  Then one day he finally ate a half serving of his food. A few days later he was back to his normal diet and routine and now he’s better than ever. I was feeling guilty over not taking him for enough walks. Sunday is our long run day but with the freep half marathon last week and our post race massages, which is worse for us physically than the race itself, we decided to walk our route today and take him with us. He loved it. Out in the woods and taking in all the smells.  He’s been sleeping since.  Dogs rule!

  14. So, I moved outta Jersey two weeks ago, (so far, so good….. cat acclimated by day 2, it took me a little longer), and I realized this morning that Halloween is next Friday….

So, I went to my neighborhood grocery chain and bought the BIG bag of assorted candy (m&m’s, Reese’s, etc) because I have NO idea whether my new little block gets a lot of trick-or-treaters, a few trick-or-treaters, no trick-or-treaters.

But for sure, the last thing I wanted to do was get stuck with no candy here and have the whole new neighborhood complex Talk about the new chick from Jersey who’s a “cheap ass son of a bitch to Halloween trick-or-treaters”. 😱

I am kinda hoping there will be some come around because I do love to see the costumes & happy faces — or sometimes the totally confused tiny faces of first time trick-or-treaters. So cute 😊

  15. Yikes. Reading this last page of posts (& then re-reading them / still baffled) totally makes me realize I can’t possibly incorporate most of this (knowingly) in my life. I’ve often admitted to being old, but now for sure I feel like a dinosaur.
