  1. Isn't that the whole argument for reviews? To get the call right? In that video I posted, it showed that the play before the Tucker long FG that cost us the game, Baltimore took almost a full 2 seconds on the play before. Change the calls to make the play clock reviewable.
  2. I agree. That's also too early to be starting the season. Call me old fashioned but I don't think the quality of play in baseball is the same in 30⁰ weather as it is in 80⁰ weather. And playing hockey in June? Ridiculous.
  3. Yeah. I remember one year it was 60⁰ on Christmas. But I also remember freezing my butt off during a playoff game in 2006. It even may be played in L.A. But my point is its not played the same in Eastern cities as lt is all summer when it's in the 80⁰ range. And...if it comes down to a game 7, I'm sure first pitch will be at 8:30 or so. Thank goodness for the pitch clock!
  4. Well, Campbell already said he and Jaymo would be limited to a certain amount of snaps.
  5. The NFL has enough officials to have some sort of signal sent to the on-field referees to shut a play down. I've seen countless reviews in NBA games on whether a shot got off in time. The NFL should never ignore an obvious penalty.
  6. Wow...I just noticed Game 7 of The World Series is set for November 4th. It's not good baseball in frigid weather.
  7. With the advances we've had since the 1960's, there should be rule changes allowing reviews for officials mistakes. Time is NOT a matter of opinion...lol. Play clock or game clock should both be enforced correctly. It was the entire reason for reviews, to get the calls right. I really can't believe this hasn't been brought up to the rules committee.
  8. Young corner backs usually struggle their first season or 2. And rookies never seem to get calls. But yeah, he's very talented.
  9. Shep wasn't even the worst person in the booth. That slurping C-mo has to go. And Johnny Kane giggling like an idiot during the game being played? Unwatchable.
  10. Shep had a negative WAR. If not for him, we win the division. 🤣🤣
  11. He had a really good game. Of course, he was off the board before we drafted. And I'm happy with Branch, so far.
  12. Not when it's a blowout. Last night's Seahawks-Giants game was as boring as it could get.
  13. Perfect game to get guys back on the field. Along with Jamo...Jaymo. 😃
  14. At the end of this video, it says how the NFL told Campbell a couple of seasons ago that the time clock is subjective. Like time running out is an opinion and not a cold, hard fact.
  15. Consider the competition.
  16. Yeah, if feels strange to have such confidence in a Lions team. 😃
  17. I want to see 2 things from Jaymo. I want to see if he knows the playbook and has he been working out properly to prevent pulled/strained muscles?
  18. It looked to me like the Lions defenders hesitated, waiting for the whistle. We won so it doesn't really matter but if that play would have cost us the game? Another way the NFL tried to screw Detroit. Play should have been stopped once the clock hit zero. There's really no excuses, the clock hit zero and the ball wasn't snapped. To then say it's not reviewable? Absurd.
  19. I would have Philly ahead of Dallas.
  20. Justin Fields doing his best to make Chicago fans long for the days of Jay Cutler. 🤣🤣🤣
  21. Thanks for that! I lost it when the stadium announcer said "One more time, Detroit"
  22. There was talk of scoring 1000 runs. We tanked...
  23. I agree Make it an illegal formation. And make it a dead ball anytime a player is pushed from behind!
  24. 1-4 won't be much better.
  25. It wouldn't lead to extra reviews. Teams should be allowed to review it and if they lose, it counts against their allowable reviews/timeouts. The entire reason for the reviews is to just get it right. This is not a judgement call like forward progress being stopped. It's an actual fact of time has run out, play is over. Turning time into a judgement call is absurd. You're correct, there should be a buzzer that goes off in the officials ear. Otherwise, they may not hear it.
