I could swear on a bible that the flag was in play the whole I lived there, through 1991. I loved how close the upper deck was to home plate. I hated how cramped the seats were for daddy long legs-types like me.

People like presidents and senator who are on the clock 24/7 for their country have no right to be sarcastic. Everything they say matters and should be taken seriously. “I was kidding” is never an excuse for public servants whose very words affect how life is lived in this country.

I don't think fit means nothing. Even if Devers were going through the same thing with the Red Sox but on a one-year $15 million deal instead, I would bet Harris still doesn't go after him.

I don't dislike City Connects so much as a concept as I do these particular City Connects, specifically, the pajama bottoms. Hate those. I would guess City Connect 2.0 will have white pants, as other teams have done. That said, I do get why the youngs, and the players themselves, like the City Connects. The regular uniforms are old and boring.

Devers is an extreme case, but I am under the impression there are quite a lot of veterans who would not be a fit on this version of the Tigers for similar reasons.
