Of course that's the point, they are trying to cause so much fear that people self deport. How one administration vs the next chooses to enact the laws on the books is, for the most part, up to them. As for detaining people at their court hearings, I agree, that's pretty scummy. My understanding is that they're even instructing federal judges to grant immediate dismissal of cases so they can take the person into custody and remove them from the country.

Many of the people being arrested have final orders of deportation. That means they had their day in court and still people on the left freak out when they get taken away. I don't get it, does the USA not have the right to enforce any immigration laws at all?
