Recently, YouTube TV cancelled ESPN and ABC. Along with the Dusney channel. No Monday Night Football for me yesterday. ESPN has an app but it's $29.99 per month. No way...so I found FUBO TV. It has a free trial but I was wondering if anyone's ever tried it and what do they think of it? I really miss ESPN and I thought it would only be a short time until these billionaires figured out how to share the riches but I guess it's time to start looking for alternatives. HULU Live TV? Sling? Any suggestions?

Fubo is great. It has the local tigers/wings/pistons network and almost all of the various sports and entertainment networks. It also just works. Interface is straightforward.

One downside is that it doesn’t have tnt/tbs. But because I have those through hbo/amazon I don’t sweat it.

I’m surprised at how widespread YouTube tv has become, that when it loses channels folks act there are no options and it’s the end of the world. It’s never been easier to cancel/switch. Just hit the bricks.

Regardless, I’m still surprised that YouTube tv is the monocultural streaming cable bundle, especially when it doesn’t have the local sports.

Fubo having FDS is the deciding factor. I'm going to switch it tomorrow. YouTube may rethink their business practice, losing both ABC and ESPN will cost them. As well as Disney.

In the long run, I think i'm rooting for Youtube.  Essentially they want ABC and ESPN, but they don't want all the nonsense channels that Disney wants to force them to take as well.  In short, they are trying to move back towards a traditional Cable style, where you can pick and choose packages, but also include other 3rd party apps into 1 'menu' via Youtube where you have everything in one interface.

I have Hulu... Overall, I am generally happy with it, but it had some major issues early October and I couldn't stream parts of game 2 of the Mariners series. Also doesn't have Bally/FD/(whatever sportsbook that buys the naming rights with the money they have pilfered from gambling addicts )Sports, but for me that means no Rays/Marlins games.

Ahhh...thanks for this post. I didn't realize i could get WXYZ (ABC in detroit) through my Amazon account. I can watch Monday Night Football on that, I think. Hopefully, YouTube TV works out their issues. Billionaires trying to figure out how to share money....ugh.
