Deleterious Posted June 27 Author Posted June 27 I was thinking 3/$60 million, so nice deal for IHart. I wasn't really understanding what OKC is doing with their C position. I just said its Presti, so cut him some slack. But I guess the hope is last year's lottery pick at C (Sorber) and this year's lottery pick at C (Mara) will be ready to replace at least IHart in 2–3 years and maybe even Chet. That trade kicker really shows how committed they are to him. It would be $11 million if traded this season. $7.5 next year, and $3.75 the last year. For a team already paying hundreds of millions of dollars in tax penalties, that is a decent chunk of change. Quote
buddha Posted June 27 Posted June 27 5 years for 134 is roughly $27m per. that's what we should be paying duren. 1 Quote

Deleterious Posted June 27 Author Posted June 27 Clearing that space for Duren! He lost time to DeAndre Jordan. That might be ok in 2018, but not 2026. I guess some team might give him another look. But there is a chance him and Ivey could be roommates in Europe next year. Quote

Deleterious Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 Yeah, Denver is in a tough spot. Second apron and luxury tax are headshots for most organizations. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 Charlotte hitting the cultural reset button this summer. Grayson Allen was just traded, and he wasn't even the most disliked player in the trade. 1 2 Quote
Deleterious Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 Bridges was the last lottery pick from the 2018 draft class to be with his original team that they started the 2018 season with. Someone else said Mitchell Robinson is now the only first round pick with his original team from that class. And it looks like New York will let him walk in free agency. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 28 Author Posted June 28 What is the point? That doesn't make them even close to being a contender. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 I guess they would be using Butler to get AD? Steph, LeBron, and AD. I set the O/U for games played together at about 30. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 From what I read, the Clippers won't extend Kawhi, and he wants one. So now he's apparently open to returning to Toronto — because they will. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 No ****. Love how he waited until the last day to announce it. Like he was giving consideration to not opting in. 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 It takes a lot of talent to be terrible and an apron team at the same time. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 That really doesn't seem good or bad for either team. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 29 Author Posted June 29 What? To get any space to pursue James they would have to renounce Green. That means they would have to use cap space or an exception to sign him again. Which would mean he is taking a huge paycut. Curious to see how this all plays out. I doubt this move is made without LeBron saying he would come. Quote

NorthWoods Posted June 29 Posted June 29 https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/49215931/sources-warriors-eye-lebron-ad-moves-green-declines-option Green had until 5 p.m. ET to decide on the option. For weeks, team and league sources indicated that Green would turn down the one-year financial guarantee and the Warriors would work with him on a new contract -- lowering his salary for next season -- only if it freed up the immediate flexibility for Golden State to secure a significant roster upgrade. Hours ahead of the option deadline, Green's decline is a blaring indication that the franchise has something brewing and signals a shift in his and the franchise's belief in what they can possibly pull off this summer.
