Why do you suppose some may notice flight rates rising steadily--the ones you've been watching for a while? First, major airlines are tracking your choices and what you're interested in and are thus raising prices in order to make you want to book your interested flight. They know your search history via your browser's cookies. So, the solution is simply to wipe it clean and then start searching.
