  1. Yet you keep harping on Hunter Biden yet seem to have no qualms with the deal Jared Kushner made directly with the Saudi government. A deal that may have potential security implications and foreign influence. Make sense of that. Nobody has said Hunter is a saint. Trump pardoned Kushner's father and gave him an ambassadorship. Who is the hypocrite here.

  7. Unfortunately I feel like they're like the poor people in Jonestown. They'll keep drinking the Trump Kool Aid until we become a true third world nation.
  8. They just keep getting weirder. How does one justify voting for these clowns https://newrepublic.com/post/189490/maga-victoria-spartz-doge-republican-majority
  9. The so called religious, seem to forget the basic part of Christ's teachings from the Sermon on the Mount. Too much time on the Old Testament, not enough on the New. Thanks to guys like Falwell and Robertson the church got too involved in politics and forgot about tending their flocks. Don't get me started on SuperChurches.
  10. We watched it last night. Excellent cast, very well done.
  11. I need to make a resolution to get to a few parks this year. I see Richmond is promoting John Smoltz for their opening day. My initial list would include Richmond, Norfolk, maybe Fredericksburg, Va...Salem and a possible stop in Lynchburg. Durham always seems to be out of town when I have my Duke appointments. We stayed at the Aloft (?) next to the ballpark until their prices became outrages (compared to others a bit farther out).
  12. Hershel Walker gets an ambassadorship. A free vacation in the Bahamas
  13. If they do it it's Patriotic. If a "liberal" does it....
  14. Mike Vick named head FB Coach at Norfolk State. He grew up near there. Still an interesting choice https://www.si.com/college-football/michael-vick-hired-norfolk-state-new-head-coach

  19. I just wish he'd dial it down from 11 to about an 8. It's a game, not life and death. But then the last time I got too emotionally involved with a team was the 1992 Pirates. I still hate Sid Bream, but Barry Bonds also deserves some of my ire.

  21. A sample of some of this year's wreaths on Duke of Gloucester (DOG) St.
  22. Was out walking around Colonial Williamsburg this weekend. I got this shot standing near the First Black Baptist Church site. The oldest African American Church in America. The shot is the steeple of Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg.
  23. Or do we get a Trump version of Ford's WIN (Whip Inflation Now!) buttons and he declares victory. There will be dancing in the streets!
  24. I have yet to figure out reasoning or why with prescription prices. For the past 3 years or so I've been taking OFEV (nintedanib) for my lungs (ILD). The over the counter price I've seen is around $12000 a month (60 tablets). Up until this year, once I met the $2,000 deductible it was costing about $680 out of pocket. This year there was no charge once my deductible was reached. Not complaining, just a bit concerned about what the new administration, drug czar and Congress is going to hit me with.
