  1. Good 10 pitch battle by Badoo to earn a walk.
  2. I mentioned it in the yesterdays game thread but I find it ironic that Randy Johnson (Long time Diamondback) is doing a new Ballysports commercial.
  3. The “short boys” ballysports commercial with Randy Johnson is ironic is it not?
  4. I think Javy needs chewed out and benched once or twice a month.
  5. So this is floating all over Facebook. Jason Aldean is already a puke but this is pretty inflammatory. CMT and a few other outlets have blocked it already.
  6. Agreed this goes totally against the rest of the baseball formula. You have zero salary cap yet you have to hagle a pool of money to sign draft picks? So dumb....
  7. Gates usually open about an hour before game. I was at the miggy bobblehead game a few weeks back on a sunday and we were only about 20 people deep in line 1/2 hour before gates open. Welcome to the board! Prayers for you man F**K CANCER!
  8. Get to the gates 30 minutes before they open, you will get one.
  9. I am sure the league is more at ease tonight.

A Philadelphia native, Leinhauser was a noted amateur welterweight boxer.[15] In the replacement game, he took Ty Cobb's spot in center field. He had no hits and struck out three times in four plate appearances. Defensively, he had only one chance and was credited with an assist and no errors.[16] Leinhauser later recalled that he wore Cobb's uniform and used his glove while playing in center field.[15] According to one account, "when Leinhauser's wife found that he had the audacity to replace the great Ty Cobb, she hit him with a skillet."[10]
  15. G7 always sounded better than G8
  16. Irwin had two triples in three at-bats in the game. He shares the record with Cecil Bolton for most triples in a career with no other hits at two. Irwin was the only member of the replacement Tigers to get a hit in a 24-2 loss. Two members of the coaching staff (Deacon McGuire and Joe Sugden), who were pressed into service for that game, also got one hit each.
