Not sure how long ago you served but things have changed. Army missed its recruiting numbers in the last year by a substantial 25%. 2023 is looking even more bleak.... You get alot of grifters getting bonus's to re up for 12-18 months and these guys tend to be the extermist in my experience.
I avoid Crappy Howies like the plague. Least favorite of chains for me. We had a Jets in Fort Wayne for a hot minute, only one in NE Indiana. I liked it, not sure why it closed.....
Agree on all that. It’s just, Lange is still developing. Mario Rivera? Yeah, you bring him in he knows the situation and adjusts to it. Just a lot of pressure from a new angle he is not geared to at the moment. No excuse though.
Miss use of Lange. You can’t get someone to live the closer mentality life and then put him in these situations. Get the lead in the 10th bring him in. We can’t score, the end.
My teenage son has major anxiety every Sunday night before the school week. I ask him if he is behind in any class or somebody picking on him and it was always no. He could never expalin why but I think it was just the idea of what the week ahead might bring. Anxiety is a wild animal...
Agreed 100%. I chose to send my kids to Christian private schools. In that same token I would expect public schools to exclude any religous teachings or ideas. LGBTQ is a whole seperate issue and should be accommodated in the public school sector.
New twist now in states like Indiana that now have school choice scholarships (vouchers). Now that religous schools are accepting public funding I expect some change. How does the old saying go? You let a camel stick its head into the tent, pretty soon the camel lives in the tent or something like that.
You can’t drink alcohol in a public school. But I like how you also used an extreme example.
Two hearted is my favorite beer as well. Voodoo Ranger Juice Force is slowly making its way into my fridge. 9.5 ABV you gotta be careful though.
The point being the idea of freedom of speech is equally disturbed to all Americans. Anyone can protest and that’s their constitutional right no matter what you believe. I was using an extreme example to make a point NOT that it should be allowed in a public school. I would 1000 times expect anything to to with religion to be excluded from public schools.
Let’s say a student presented a play that included a reenactment of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Would we not expect the “other” side to be at that same school board meeting protesting?
Courious why you put this in the "Religion" thread? This occured in my city. This High School is 100% a public school in a 50K student, school district. I read through the article and there was no religous leaders involved with any reason why the school concert was canceled. I get it is wrong and all that but this really was not religouslly driven.
I just don't see him getting the EC. Yeah he might get most red states but purple highly unlikely. Remember he still has to make a fool of himself through the whole election cycle. Debates, town halls etc..
