    Mikey Sainristil is a true legend. I cannot overstate his importance for the culture and the success of this team. Will Johnson is a real dog...but damn, he almost got ejected.

    My wife and her very politically switched on group of Northern Virginia ladies (e.g., probably all donors to Planned Parenthood etc.) engaged with a friend of theirs on their girls weekend who had moved off to Houston suburb of The Woodlands and who didn't get what they were talking about when they referred to "MAGAs".     Not to stir this pot any further because I'm angsting pretty bad. Co-worker who played FB as a walk-on at Georgia Tech tells me that all the bubbas in the South stood up and took notice at how Michigan won in the trenches against Alabama and that our speed was shocking to him. Basically, we proved we could win the natty and he thinks we will.

    The Lloyd Austin hospitalization situation...smdh. If you are in the hospital because you have a bunion, that's one thing. This guy is navigating a serious set of global crisis and needs to be in the game. Appears it was a routine medical procedure that went awry.
