It appears that David Pecker of National Inquirer may have flipped. Did Ruppert Murdoch give him a bigger, better deal? Or did some other major money player in GOP politics decide that Don needed to leave the scene?
I for one am glad that hacks in Congress can reach down into any local criminal investigation and manipulate the system to benefit their political friends. That's great for democracy and the rule of law.

I have occassionally been able to tune into the other team's broadcasts. I just never get a chance to see them during the afternoon and this weekend would seem to be a good time to subject oneself to the miseries of the BSD broadcast since the games are on in the magic hour of twilight.
So, we just won't see the Tigers on TV this Spring? I admit I've been pretty busy with softball during the last month but it sure seems like there is a dearth of games broadcast when I can see them.
This does seem like the behavior of a country that has its replenishment and refitting on a firm and sound basis and not being jerked around by the whims of a single figure.
I yearn for politics within the normal band of behaviors. I want collective security in the face of aggression from dictatorships to be normal for politicians of most stripes.
