    this team felt like a .500 caliber team all year. The horrid slumps at the beginning of the season and we had another in there ICR when but it didn't see we were as awful as a sub-70 win team.

    What was "weird" about Palin was that she didn't remain in the arena after her run. When she didn't run for the Senate or some other public service role and her daughter got all the plastic surgery and they did a reality TV show...all respect lost.

    My negative attitude toward McCain has more to do with him being the darling of NBC and an officer.

    TBH, my attitude toward McCain was fairly negative prior to 2008. When he was the nominee I went with it. I thought Palin was cool until it became evident she was not an asset to the abbey.

    As a guy who wears softball cleats more nights a week than I don't, i have to say my UA cleats are the most comfortable shoes I own. And that's weird. i almost want to wear them to work.

    Its been interesting to see the panicky Reds' behavior in this series. Remember when we behaved like that? The weird breaks in the action. The arguments. That's a coaching staff and team trying to get into the playoffs.

    the 2012 GOP primary was when we really saw the populist entertainment wing of the GOP emerge. They hated McCain, they were beholden to the blood and soil nationalists masquerading as Christians. I'm so over anything having to do with that element. That was the biggest GD circus. [until subsequent events proved it was not the biggest circus]
