  1. welp...its being projected so...clearly
  2. Ukraine seizing that territory doesn't involve a current NATO member attacking "Russia" Which admittedly, in my Poland-takes-Kalinigrad-example, I tore up that exception.
  3. Russian twitter is putting out there a story about Ukraine seizing Transnistria in order to demilitarize it. On balance, even though this originates from Russian fever swamps, I can't see an argument against it. Seize it and bring the UN in but in the process take all the ammo dumps that have been sitting there for all these years (apparently). Now, this may be jive like the constant tweet I see about the Lions trading their entire draft + Goff to Baltimore for Lamar Jackson which appears to have originated in hell. Still, food for thought. Why does Russia get to keep that? Why shouldn't Moldova ask for Ukraine to liberate that territory? Then maybe Poland can liberate Kalinigrad.
  4. None of this is of any consequence.
  5. As a veteran with his military ID from the MIANG in 1991-94 or so, I enjoyed going to games for free in the Lower deck in RF. That's a weird seat. I saw 75-85% of a bunch of home runs.
  6. If this means that members of congress from "red states" can't vote in the District of Columbia for 5 years that would be problematic.

  11. Its the simplest explanation for bad actions. The debt incurred to buy Twitter at $44B was leveraged by several bad actors.
  12. There was a program in the 50s and 60s that was supposed to expedite citizenship for recent Eastern European immigrants who had spent time behind the iron curtain and who had volunteered to serve in the US Army. I guess there was a subjective element to it which might have given commanding officers too much power over who got citizenship and those who ran afoul of the boss would be slow rolled.
  13. One of my most rational friends who was with me a early declaration of Never Trump is having a hard time assessing Elon's behavior. He's still resisting that Musk may have been captured by the baddies. "Why would he need to be in debt to anyone, he's the richest man in the World?"

  21. I'd like to know her "reasoning" but I'm also sort of just assuming its some entitled BS borne out of her silver spoon daddy-bought me a couple gyms so I'm suddenly smart worldview. She should have stuck to cuckholding her husband.
  22. She's a walking advertisement for earplugs.
  23. In the respect that the British liaison in Washington was a propaganda outfit, the three share that aspect. Geisel was not as involved directly in combat as the two brits were.
