I am really hoping to hit the sweet spot in retirement where I'm close enough to the free-thinking folk of a place like AA and somewhere cheap enough to live and still get down to Comerica Park a couple times a year without having to have too long a commute. On a lake ideally. Super Ideally close enough to walk to ice cream at night. Uber ideally, with enough land where I don't see my neighbor. Extra uber ideally, with guaranteed no Trumpies within the vicinity.

So, I returned from Michigan to DC area by car. I was on my own so I decided to roll through Ann Arbor area. Lovely. A nice drive compared to the pot-holed mess that is the Western Suburbs of Detroit (Livonia in particular). After, I drove out of town via 23. I stopped off at Dundee to see Cabelas to see if they had any reloading supplies. Oh my! Crowded gun counter. The Trump garb on the people shopping there. East European guy in Black shirt and BDU pants was asking about various pistols. No masks except for a guy who was looking at the boats. I wonder how many of these gravy seals are hoping for a civil war. Looking for their own Harper's Ferry to kick off the race war.
