    I’m cheering against all of Minnesota, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Because I see the Lions’ competition being as much the other division winners for seeding as it is the Packers for the NFC North title.

    And now USC, needing just a chip shot 25 yard FG to win in regulation, snaps it high and doesn’t even get the kick off. 28-28 into OT.

    And then in the final minute of the Alabama-A&M game Saban called for a pass that went for incomplete when he could have just taken 3 knees. But tonight’s GT-Miami is an all-time fail. Miami just had to kneel with 35 seconds to go, GT couldn’t stop the clock, instead Miami ran it and fumbled and GT went down and scored a long last-second TD.

    Sideline interference penalty against Day, lol. Wipes out a 40 yard gain. Update: Ohio St TD on next play so didn’t matter. Still funny though. .

    Maryland receivers are weak. So many drops and misses. 17-17 midway through 3rd.

    I had Oklahoma as an upset this week. They have rolled through their first five weeks.

    Maryland up 10-0 in Columbus early in the 2nd. Michigan plays at Michigan between the Penn St and OSU games.

    I think it is nefarious, but I also think that a high profile figure like Tucker has to expect encounters with people with ill-intent or who grey area at best, whether that be honeypots or gamblers or shady donors. Reminds me of people I’ve seen firsthand throw away their jobs or reputations on business trips to China.

    Vancouver has a metro population of 2.6 million, a fair bit of wealth, and negligible pro sports competition apart from the NHL Canucks. But its 40 year old, 55,000 seat stadium is not suitable for baseball.     I aways love watching the Jays get eliminated because I see it as yet another way for Leafs fans to feel pain. Same reason I cheer for nasty traffic jams on the Don Valley Parkway or Gardiner Expressway.
