Vegas and Carolina both look to have fun, lively arenas and I would like to see games there. I like the camera angles on Dallas home games, captures the crowd well. Florida I like because my daughter took her loyalties to the Panthers when Luongo got traded back there. So I have no problems with the markets. Just there’s no one team or player left who I would really like to see win the Cup, the way I cheered for Thornton’s Sharks to the final and the Caps and Blues when they won it all.
Dallas-Seattle Game 7 tonight. A Kraken win would maintain my interest in these playoffs. I like the Canucks, don’t mind their fans, sometimes cheer for or against them in a series depending on the circumstances. BUT. …if Seattle were to somehow beat the Canucks to a Cup?? Haha, that would be the funniest thing ever. The city of Vancouver would completely lose its collective mind.
Gangbuster start to Vegas-Oilers. It’s 2-1 Edmonton three minutes in, on pace for a 40-20 final score. Too bad it’s on too late for many in eastern time zone to be watching.
Wow, Veleno at #6 ahead of Brady Tkachuk. No wonder I was so excited the night of that draft. And couldn’t wait to see Zadina suit up in a Wings uniform and fill the net with pucks.
I had my phone off from 5 minutes into OT until now, missing all of the Oilers game even, due to my daughters’s high school choir concert, but ,.,WOOHOO!
Hate is stronger than love sometimes.
Now if the Lions can make it to a Super Bowl in the next two or three years, they don’t even have to win it, I think the Leafs would be the undisputed most loserish franchise in pro sports.
Florida 2 Toronto 1. Leafs have one period to save their season. To do so, they'll need to score more than 2 goals in a game for the first time in the series. C'mon Florida: tie the period, win the series.
Anything less than 11-6, a division title and at least one playoff win and I’ll be disappointed. I don’t think 13-4 and a loss in the NFC championship game is unrealistic as goals. My only real fear is Goff getting knocked out with a season-ending injury in Week 3.
If it’s any consolation, that how I feel about Quinn Hughes’ game. Don’t know what the fancy stats say, but to me it seems 90% of the value he brings is offense.
Nurse has looked a bit off this series.
You know which Oiler defenceman has had an impressive playoffs? Evan Bouchard, 15 points in 10 games. The same Evan Bouchard that Kenny apparently had decided to take if Zadina hadn't fallen into his lap.
MLive has it as Week 4 but I don’t know their source.
