  2. Coach Prime to Alabama.
  3. Feels like the Wings haven't played in a month.
  4. POST BLACK MONDAY HOT SEAT RANKING - Not saying they WILL be fired, but I have to have a Top 5. Post-Belichick 1. NICK SIRANNI, Philadelphia - He shouldn't be on a hot seat, but when you hire Matt Patricia as a DC...well, you get what you deserve 2. DENNIS ALLEN, New Orleans - His team ignoring his order not to score doesn't inspire confidence. 3. ROBERT SALEH, NY Jets - Anytime Aaron Rodgers is involved........ 4. DOUG PEDERSON, Jacksonville - Pretty big meltdown, the golden boy hasn't improved. He'll be back next year, but I needed a fifth 5. MIKE McCARTHY, Dallas - Yes, if he loses to Green Bay
  5. Good coach, but it was Brady. Gonna be hard to watch any sports the next few days with all the slobbering over Saban and Belichick.
  6. Bobby Petrino's available.................
  7. POST BLACK MONDAY HOT SEAT RANKING - Not saying they WILL be fired, but I have to have a Top 5. 1. BILL BELICHICK, New England - He should just walk away gracefully. Could he be traded? 2. NICK SIRANNI, Philadelphia - He shouldn't be on a hot seat, but when you hire Matt Patricia as a DC...well, you get what you deserve 3. DENNIS ALLEN, New Orleans - His team ignoring his order not to score doesn't inspire confidence. 4. ROBERT SALEH, NY Jets - Anytime Aaron Rodgers is involved........ 5. DOUG PEDERSON, Jacksonville - Pretty big meltdown, the golden boy hasn't improved. He'll be back next year, but I needed a fifth Lots of open jobs now. Tennessee LA Chargers New England? Seattle Atlanta Washington Carolina Las Vegas? Where's Saban going? LOL Hey Bama, Tuck Comin' ?
  8. Saban tryin to steal our thunder.
  9. Rumors around here is that there will be no parade, but some sort of rally at Crisler. I feel cheated. I know it might be because of the weather.
  10. I can't remember any sports trade that benefitted everyone like this one did. Rams & Stafford got their ring. Lions got draft picks and used them well and Goff has turned out to be good. The Rams won the early part and the Lions won the long term, but everyone seems to have won.
  11. Looks like LaPorta has a chance of playing on Sunday night. Told you not to assume the worst on this. We did that with Brian Branch in Game 3 or 4 and he was fine.
  12. The movie "Fargo" could have been nominated as a Comedy, actually because even though the story is dark, there is black humor throughout the film.
  13. It depends on how the production company or network submits it. If they define it as a comedy, it gets submitted as a comedy. I think there is some method that the awards in question confirm it, so I don't think the bar is high. For instance, Rhea Seehorn (as Kim Wexler) was a lead actress in the final season of Better Call Saul, but the producers submitted her as a Supporting Actress - probably because they thought she had a better chance to win. If they producers of Amadeus had nominated F. Murray Abraham as Lead Actor and Tom Hulce as Supporting Actor, they both would have won Oscars that year, but they felt it would be an insult to Hulce to call him a Supporting Actor in that role. Their decision.
  14. Who was going to be QB next year if he left? Harvey Manfrengensenden?
  15. No. But what about all the Spartans at the game? Think of the children.
  16. U of M should be able to map out a route...........they own the whole ****in' city at this point. And yes, there will be someone there protesting the parade for some stupid reason. There always is.
  17. But I would think that 24 hours later they'd have announced something. If they are waiting on a good weather day then the parade won't be in the next 10 days. It's January, you get what you get.
  18. I haven't found ANYTHING on a parade yet. It's like a state secret
  19. They hate when someone does what they do first.
  20. Penix is a first-round talent. Michigan was just dominant and beat the snot out of him. He's tough as hell too. Best situation for him would be to go to a team with an aging QB that doesn't have to play him right away. Middle first round, who are the candidates........ Seattle - Stays "home", can play behind Geno for a year or two LA Rams - How many years does Stafford have left, 2? Miami - We all know that Tua is one hit away from it being over. Plus, strategically it makes sense having a left-handed backup to a left-handed starter. The Jets - Thinking Rodgers will play one more year just to keep the spotlight on himself. And there is the possibility that Penix ends up a Raider with Jim Harbaugh as his coach. But you put Penix in a poorly-run team like Denver or Washington and he'll look like Zach Wilson. I don't know if he slides past Atlanta at #8. New coach with some real talent on offense will want to make an impact and he can be in the wings waiting for Ridder's next flop.
  21. He's fine. He's better than Brandy (who should have stayed as a color guy) Takes a while to grow into it.
  22. Well, might as well put Ohio as Red on the board already. (Kinda was anyway)
  23. Now the NCAA will crap on us by allowing one of our star players to get drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves during the parade.
  24. Should JJ McCarthy stay for another year? He's not ready for the NFL.
