It's factual that most gun owners are in favor of reasonable gun laws because when you have unreasonable people doing unreasonable things with guns it makes all gun owners look bad. Despite our many flaws as a country , most people tend to go the common sense route. Even now with this Republican Party. But we'd better be careful right now because things could go wildly astray very quickly starting in November.

That's part of it, but she is not the one who pulled the trigger and it's very doubtful that she poses a threat to society herself, so what's the point of burying her under the prison. Plenty of others deserve that fate. I think she's gonna get 4-5 years total (including what she's already served) and that seems about right to me. Much as I hate Kwame Kiltpatrick, I don't think he deserved 28 years. He did a decade. I think that's fair. Lost a decade with his kids growing up and that's a steep price. Just wondering how far he's gonna take this new religious grift he's on 'cause I ain't buying that nonsense.

Involuntary Manslaughter. They could but they won't, and I agree with that. These will be concurrent. I think half a decade makes the point.

I think 4-6 years total is fair. I don't know, maybe she could advocate for others to avoid this path when she , but I haven't seen any public evidence of remorse and even if she did show it, would it be for what her son did or what she's going through? This is a VERY historic moment, actually.

I really hope this stands and doesn't get overturned (I fear they'll find something to overturn it at some point). but what I REALLY hope for is that this sets a precedent all over this country. I know there are plenty of cases where the parents tried and I mean really tried to help potential shooters, but I think it's pretty evident, so far, that this couple did nearly nothing. I mean this kid's red flags came with bells and whistles and fireworks. You buy a troubled teenager a gun? For the parents who seemingly love their guns more than their kids should be paying attention to what's happening here. Thank you to the Karen McDonald and the Oakland Country Prosecutor's Office for refusing to take this **** anymore. To me they are heroic for this. Well done. I hope other Prosecutor's around this country stop bowing to NRA pressure and start doing their damn job in situations like this. Even Eric Harris' father (Columbine) tried to do the minimal to help his son. It wasn't much, but at least there was some attempt. Now let's strengthen the law regarding unsecured guns around minors. Might not stop every one of these shooters, but it might stop a few. So little to ask, but **** the NRA and their rhetoric. Kids don't need to die at school. I don't know the sentencing guidelines for this, but I am guessing she probably stays in prison for another 3-4 years. It's a better fate than the mothers of Adam Lanza (Sandy Hook) and Faith Kinkel (Oregon, 1998). She is lucky that he didn't start with her. She's getting off a lot easier than the parents of those kids at Oxford (and not just the ones who were killed and wounded). Might help to actually feel a little remorse too. Plenty of time to work on that now.

To me, What the Crumbley parents didn't understand is that the second you have a child, you become secondary in your life. It's all about them. Seems they didn't want to cramp their style. I didn't feel sorry for the shooter, but I kind of do now. I mean, he deserves jail time, but I feel like he was more of a nuisance for the parents than actually the most important person in their world. Selfish people aren't typically good parents.

But not on mainstream Country radio. Won't touch those guys with a 10 foot pole. Another reason why that format is the worst.

Wow, thanks Wall Street Journal. Calling my hometown America's Jihad Capital. Has the writer actually even been here? I ran out of toilet paper, I know where to get some now.

The rumor is that he was a major factor in landing Pudge. I always thought it was offering him twice as much as anyone else. -

Didn't know he was here long enough to get a picture of him playing. -
Makes me think of the William Hurt line in A History Of Violence.

Look at Bieniemy's past. I know his troubles were a long time ago, but are you putting the fate of your billion dollar business in the hands of someone with a past like that? I'm sure not. Don't care what his skin tone is. That's why he's not getting gigs. Is it fair? Maybe not, but it's understandable. College pranks are one thing, but there are other things you do at that age that are going to stay with you forever. I wish more young people understood that, but when you are a star recruit and have everyone, including older people kissing up to you from the time you're 16 your sense of right and wrong is gonna get skewed. It's why I like how Jameson Williams' father responded to the question about his son's suspension. He didn't blame anyone else. But to your point (and mine) about Quinn. I don't get it. It's a very Snyderesque kind of move. The job was Ben Johnson's for the taking. But there are other Offensive minds out there. That Green Bay game alone should have disqualified Quinn. That was brutal. The Super Bowl year was a Shanahan-led fluke.

When will Riley Greene return? -
The Commanders hired Dan Quinn as their head coach? After that last playoff game vs. Green Bay? Wow. Re-tread City, man. Maybe it wasn't just Dan Snyder. They'll go nowhere

No, he was with the band before that, he's on the cover of the new album, so he was a full time band member. There are some other things in the wind about them that, if true, means they're finished. Shame, they had a fun sound, and no, it's not original, but what is anymore? Everything old makes a comeback at some point.

This was one second after Charles Rocket intentionally dropped an F-Bomb at the close of Saturday Night Live in February 1981. Charlene Tilton of "Dallas" was the host, so they did a send up of Who Shot J.R. (Who Shot C.R.). When they all gathered on stage Charles said "I've never been shot before, I wanna know who f***'ing did it" The reactions are precious. Eddie Murphy and Denny Dillon (the blonde lady in the front) were clearly stunned, Matthew Laurence found it hysterically funny and so did members of Prince's band. Season 6 is considered, by far, the worst in the show's long history. Lorne Michaels had left and his second in command, Jean Doumanian , took over. After one more dismal episode Doumanian, Rocket, Ann Risley and Gilbert Gottfirend (on the right with the glasses) all got canned. **** Ebersol took over and after a month the re-tooled show played a couple more episodes before a writer's strike ended the season. Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo were the only cast members from Season 6 to return for Season 7. Charles Rocket went on to continue acting, but severely damaged his career this night. He wanted to get out of his contract with SNL, but wasn't thinking beyond. He got bit parts (the kidnapper in Dumb & Dumber), but never really became the star that people thought he'd become. He was a bright spot in that dismal season. The Rocket Report segments were pretty good.

Major Story about to break that Dak Prescott was paid $100 million dollars to throw the Green Bay game. And also in Dallas JFK Jr will be returning from hiding to Dealey Plaza with proof that Taylor Swift is an agent for the Lord of Darkness, George Soros. He's been hiding on the hidden Australia-sized island owned by George Soros in the South Pacific, which is the reason no planes are never allowed to fly over the South Pacific. The island was discovered when some brave truth seekers recently got to the giant ice wall that NASA sharpshooters guard to prevent us from seeing that the earth is really flat. It's amazing how all of the world Atlases have hidden this giant Soros island called Democratia, when Governor DeSantis can't get them to hide Africa at all !

Our station plays a couple of songs by Elle King. I don't really like her that much. Then the drunken tirade at the Dolly show at the Grand Ole Opry - embarrassing herself. I guess it's not her first drunken rant on stage. Has a reputation for being very difficult and obnoxious and missing shows. Her dad is Rob Schneider. The apple IS the tree. I will always love South Park for this - especially for it's accuracy.
