3rd & 9 - here comes a big Edwards play?

Yeah, okay. They need to fire Moore. The first half of the first game, using 25% of their playbook and things aren't perfect. Seems to me that when you look at some of the dominant games Edwards has had that Moore uses him quite well. He's not the load-carrying back like Corum, he's the spice and sometimes it takes a little while before the spice can kick in. I think there's a pretty decent chance that when Edwards gets to the NFL, he'll be used more as a receiver than a runner.

Keep in mind, this is THIS O-Line's first game together, might take a minute to gel.

I noticed that. His face isn't nearly aged as a typical ball player. He was a DH, got a lot of shade. He got choked up there.

I don't drink much anymore and when I do, it's pretty much at home (a cold beer after yardwork hits the spot). If I have a drink out in the public it's usually one beer and that's that. Friends give me a hard time, but I don't care. I'm turning 60 in December, I think the days of proving your manhood by how much you can drink have long since passed. And I was always a lightweight anyway. Alcoholism and binge drinking are swept under the rug too much. People are drinking to excess a lot more than 20/30 years ago - and this was trending in that direction before the pandemic, the pandemic just put it on steroids.

I kind of expected this. I don't think it's an instant return to form. Before his injury, his last 3 or 4 starts were his best of the year, but that season after Tommy John is almost always a rough one. I knew that coming into the season. I think if he hadn't had the injury he would have settled into a groove - but it all got disrupted. Patience, man, patience.

Makes me so angry. There are so many options to avoid driving but people just refuse to use them. I wonder if this was a person who has had DUIs in the past. Sad and Angry. Senseless.

Woops. You guessed wrong. Didn't matter the level of defense. Sudfeld looked unsure, unstable, deer-in-headlights. Fromm was decisive and pretty accurate and that's with little previous interaction with the team. It was night-and-day. Lets hope we never need to see him in a real game.
