  1. Sorry, but if Warde doesn't fire Howard than they both MUST go. Having to be physically restrained from attacking a trainer. That sound normal to you? Seems like the post-Wisco suspension and a heart scare didn't teach him a damn thing. He can't control his temper. He's a total embarrassment. Know when to cut 'em loose. We've seen too many times when the writing was on the wall (Patricia's pointless third year, Brandon Staley coming back to the Chargers last year). Cut and run. Ain't workin' and it ain't gonna work and he just makes the university look like a joke, and that's not even talking about the record (8-22 now?).
  2. Well, I would say that clinging onto someone from that era hasn't sent the message that they get it. Next head coach must have head coaching experience. And I am still kind of shocked that as of Sunday at 10:45am Howard is still employed.
  3. Should have never hired a guy with no head coaching experience anywhere at any level. This isn't the level where you learn on the job.
  4. If Ono has to step in, then Warde has to go. This ain't the only bullet in the chamber for Warde either. Scandal after scandal after scandal across multiple sports (How many AD's let athletes drive their wives cars, much less crash them?). And Michigan (and other schools) need to institute a policy - if you're head coach, you can't put your kids on the team. Well, at least Michigan needs to do that. Can't be objective when it's your kids, especially when you have the maturity of a 15 year old like Juwan Howard. Dude is coming off of heart surgery having to be restrained from physically going after the head trainer for "disrespecting" his son (ain't his kids' only incidents, by the way). Want respect? Then give it. What kind of clown show is this? It really has nothing to do with the record. He's gotta go. Today.
  5. Well, after reading about the incident with the trainers it has become abundantly clear. Both Warde Manuel and Juwan Howard need to go. Today. Juwan can take his entitled brats with him too. We all know that he should have been fired the night of the Wisconsin fight. He's a total disgrace. And Warde is too. Jim's gone, no need for him anymore. Ono - Do your job.
  6. Siblings in bands At a family get-together to celebrate Dave Davies 50th birthday in 1997, Ray Davies got so pissed off about not getting all the attention that he jumped up on a table and stamped all over the birthday cake and he wasn't even drunk. Ray Davies is so damned stubborn that a guy shot him and it still didn't kill him.
  7. Because Noel won't take his calls. "I liked my mum fine until she gave birth to Liam" - Noel Gallagher, 2019
  8. If you liked Oasis or Brit Pop in general, this new Liam Gallagher & John Squire album is fantastic
  9. No, it's Spring Training, I'm just practicing too
  10. How long is Riley gonna be out this time?
  11. Well, They were Jihadists - according to the Wall Street Journal. Because they know Dearborn so well.
  12. What if they do covers of that Pootie Tang song?
  13. I haven't taken a voluntary vacation from my job since I started it in May. Even when I had COVID I was doing my on-air shift from home and still scheduling music and everything else. But I love what I do, so 75% does not seem like "Work"
  14. I guess they are absolutely TERRIBLE at job interviews. They tend not to look the interviewer in the eye and engage in little secondary conversation and can't seem to leave their phones in the cars. Phones have a lot to do with it. People can't do for themselves without using a phone now. I think smartphone and social media addiction is as potentially dangerous as a drug addiction. People need that Dopamine hit. Keep checking checking for likes and clicks. They can't function without it. Improvisation? Yeah, right.
  15. I am old guy here. Sometimes Millennials really annoy me. Look, they are getting screwed. Higher education is more expensive than ever and outpacing other increasing costs. And I think much of the University system is a big scam, people in the biz for profit. Yes, higher education has to be re-imagined, but the powers that run it won't change anything because they are hitting it big. The job market sucks as they are carrying a bunch of debt, but I don't think they seem to understand that you need to work a lot of crappy jobs before you start getting good ones. Sometimes outside their field, sometimes inside. The cost of things to do for entertainment like concerts, sports and even basic dining are out of control too, but that effects everyone. Just annoyed at a Millennial in my family who thinks working more than 20 hours is too much because there is no time to do the stuff he likes. Welcome to Adulthood, young man. They don't give you any 4th-place trophies. I know. "OK Boomer" Life is hard. Paying dues is part of it unless you have a life-changing idea.
  16. It was both. They thought they could re-sign him when even Suh's sister said he couldn't wait to get out. And the bastard wants to come back now that we're good. Screw him. Go punch a baby or something. Great player who cost us plenty of games with stupid penalties.
  17. Funny, they haven't talked about Franco all day...............hmmmm
  18. I guess it's spring training for the camera operator and director too. Yeesh.........
  19. Carson Kelly sucks. Cut him.

  21. What a beautiful sight...............Is to cry !
  22. I'm excited to see BASEBALL.
  23. Oh, I think Kennedy wins the election of he wasn't killed. Bobby was young, energetic, and didn't have the war attached to him. Hubert Humphrey was this tired old politician who had always been hanging around but never truly defined himself. A candidate like that took all the wind out of the Democrats sails. When Bobby was killed after JFK and MLK, it's like a lot of people just gave up. Humphrey wasn't even running, he didn't win any of the primaries. Eugene McCarthy would have done much better. I think he still would have lost, but at least he had something behind him. They settled on Humphrey and settling doesn't work in politics. Not for big offices. The Democrats lost a decade because they went with the tired old part of the establishment. Society was shifting in their direction on social issues and Anti-War, but they turned away from that. It was before Reagan turned "liberal: into a dirty word. If Ford refused to pardon Nixon, would he have won? The Republican settled for Ford. Reagan would have beaten Carter in 1976. In 2004 the Democrats settled for Kerry. I think Howard Dean would have won the nomination if he didn't yell with excitement and all he had to do was sway one or two states and I think he could have. He had some energy building behind him. Think of where we are now and the way Trump acts every single day and think about how just yelling in victory cost a man his campaign. Howard was ahead of his time. Gary Hart could have won it all in 1988 if he wasn't such a putz in his personal life.
  24. Yes, might be best to separate herself from the party of lunatics until that's over. But that's a runaway train and that might not be over for a long time. She'll look very very weak if she caves now.........after how she's gone after him so aggressively. If Biden should drop out at some point (and he could), who would be the front runners other than Kamala Harris? Andy Beshear? (he'd pull some moderates) Chris Murphy? (he will get tagged as East Coast Liberal) Big Gretch? (the left would love her but I still think this country won't elect a female for President unless both candidates are female. We're still so stuck in the past. Joe's age is going to be a major factor (even through Trump is only 3 years younger and certainly not as sharp. Gretchen would drive the Right insane. She's been pretty successful here (in my opinion). Far from perfect, but things seem to be going well.
