  1. Michigan beat Ohio State 30-24 The Lions clinched the playoffs with a 30-34 win Michigan beat Washington 34-13 A Madden Simulation of Sundays game had the Lions beat the Bucs 34-13. Therefore I am picking the Lions to win 23-13 I know it makes no sense.
  2. There aren't enough hours in the date to hear all the great music that is easily and readily available. Anyone who says there isn't good music anymore just isn't open minded or they aren't trying to find it. It's everywhere.
  3. Haven't seen a collapse quite like the Eagles and Hurts, Individually. I'll blame the bad defense getting worse on the worst defensive coach in modern history, but the offense fell off a cliff too. Biden's fault?
  4. It is the same attempt, but Kerby needs to stop it. Just because the other guys did it doesn't mean it's cool.
  5. The Repugnantcans are about to throw another speaker out.............What a disgrace.
  6. Sometimes I think all of our griping about our bad defense makes me wonder - what are these guys supposed to do. Can't hit high, can't hit low and even when a guy goes to tackle a guy with the ball, if that guy ducks into the hit at the last second, the defensive player still gets flagged for targeting sometimes. The job of a pass defender in the NFL is getting to be an extremely difficult wire to walk on.
  7. What the hell did people expect fans to do. Come on, Stafford's a smart guy, he knew he'd get booed. Give me a break.
  8. Sport Figures I Hate Mount Rushmore Matt Patricia-Rick Pitino-Kyrie Irving-Chris Sale I would put Jackson Mahomes instead of Sale, but he's not a sports figure, he's just related to one and one of the most annoying humans in America.
  9. NO...............YOU DO EVERYTHING THE SAME WAY NEXT WEEK, WHAT ARE YOU, CRAZY?
  10. **** Dallas, the Lions are America's Team right now.
  11. Man, I hope that guy can hang on for a few more weeks, at least.
  12. I haven't even thought about the Tigers in at least 3 weeks. Have they done anything interesting recently?
  13. Plus he was unjustifiably arrogant, like most New England assistants. They all pretty much sucked and were arrogant.
  14. You know the second he walked into that locker room as Defensive Coordinator Slay probably told his teammates what a prick he is. But when Belichick goes to Dallas he'll take Matty Patty with him and Matty will ride those coattails and act like anything good was because of him. My hatred for Matt Patricia scares me a little bit. There are only a few people I hate that much (Rick Pitino, Kyrie Irving, a certain politician). The only reason he stays in football is that it saves millions of dollars in failed rocket technology, should he decide to do that for a living. I think he poked himself in the brain with that goddanged pencil.
  15. Lions have trouble with deep passes. Ain't no deep passes in the red zone. Might be as simple as that.
  16. Okay, yes, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a much better team than when we played them before. No doubt about that. But this idea that they have some sort of great offense based on last night? Remember, they played a Matt Patricia-coached defense. You saw such a piss-poor effort on defense last night with guys who weren't balling out on defense, not at all. Those Eagles player hate him like our guys hated him. You can tell. Players who love or even respect their coach don't give an awful effort like that. So while I expect Baker & the Boys to score more than 6 this time, they are not playing a Matt Patricia-coached D now. They are playing an Aaron Glenn/Dan Campbell-coached team and despite all their defensive flaws, the Buccaneers are going to feel every single hit on Sunday. How the **** does Patricia keep getting gigs? God, I hate that guy (and I don't hate Marinelli or Morningwheg, they were just overmatched in that role, they weren't completely arrogant about it, not like Patricia, who would stop press conferences to cup his own farts and hold it up to his nose. You know Belichick will probably hire him. Good. We're playing Dallas next year and I don't care what happens the rest of this season, the chip on the Lions shoulders vs. Dallas will be as big as Dan Campbell's balls.
  17. All I saw was the graphic........you just scared the hell out of me
  18. Maybe he can sing with the Pogues on tour.
  19. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL PATRICIA !!! I wanted the Lions to destroy him next week, but it's still pretty sweet watching his defense meltdown. By the way, those players gave a piss-poor effort last night. They hate him and they don't play for him - just like here.
  20. pretty epic collapse by Philly. Is the coach out? This is a different Tampa team than earlier this season, but I don't think they're prepared for the Ford Field atmosphere. The fact that Baker Mayfield is not that mobile bodes well, but the dude is tough as hell.
  21. The QB Merry-Go-Round The teams in absolute urgent need for a new starter (1) New England - I see them keeping Zappe, but they need a starter (2) Denver - Need starter & backup (3) Atlanta - Ridder should be a decent backup (4) Washington - Sam Howell is a good backup option (5) Pittsburgh - They need something there. Kenny P can be a backup Teams that need to start considering options NY Giants - Stuck with Daniel Jones one more year? DeVito had his 15 minutes Chicago - They'll draft one and have to weather the learning cure. Stroud was a unicorn Minnesota - Need to re-sign Cousins. Mullens is fine as a backuup Tampa Bay - What to do with Baker? We'll see what happens tonight Teams that need some help NY Jets - Need a good backup and probably need to take a shot at a young QB in the draft (3rd/4th Round) LA Raiders - They need to upgrade O'Connell LA Chargers - maybe upgrade backup Cleveland - Stuck with their starter. Re-sign Flacco? Jacksonville - Fine, but Trevor needs to show something next year Tennessee - Gotta give Will Levis his shot. Probably upgrade at backup. Does Willis stay? Philly - They need a reliable backup. Not sure Hurts will last Green Bay - Probably needs a backup New Orleans - May be stuck with Carr. I think Jameis goes bye-bye for many reasons Arizona - Need a reliable backup - Kyler will keep getting injured LA Rams - Another 2 years for Stafford - Time to consider drafting someone with raw potential Seattle - Geno had his moment, who knows what happens with a new coach Carolina - Does Bryce Young suck or was he put into a terrible situation. I think it's more the latter Teams that seem to be fine (for now) Buffalo - Set Miami - Set KC - Set Baltimore - Set Cincinnati - Fine Houston - Fine Indianapolis - Seem to be fine, but AR could be like RG3 with injuries Dallas - seems okay, but Dak can't just be a regular season guy much longer Detroit - Set, don't have to rush their draft pick into action San Francisco - Mr. Irrelevant is an MVP candidate.
  22. When Harbaugh departs, will Sherrone Moore elevate to Head Coach, or do they bring someone back like Mike Macdonald? Or what about Michael McDonald
  23. Watching football so much (NFL anyway), it amazes me that a defense can stop anything. I guess it comes down to the O Line, but it just seems like if you give a QB 4 seconds, I don't know how you can stop an offense. We complain about how bad the Lions defense has been this season, but here's the thing - they give up stats, but hold pretty steady, don't they? Mullens (Twice), Prescott and Stafford had massive stat lines, but the Lions gave up 24, 20, 20 and 23 points. When you have an offense like the Lions, that's enough to consistently win. Their red zone defense seems to be fantastic and their defense, though battered and stretched, comes up with big plays. They don't have a good defense, but do they need to be great stat-wise? I still think it's more important to get another Edge that can get home to bookend Hutch. They get oh so close but don't get home. Yes, the secondary needs major upgrading, they need the upgrading more than the Line does, but I think getting that Edge guy improves the secondary and makes it easier to upgrade. Vildor sounds like the name of a villain in a Sci Fi movie. Offseason Priorities 1 - Edge Rusher 2 - Secondary Starter (CB specifically) 3 - Interior Line Depth 4 - Secondary rotational (another CB) 5 - Kicker (great kick by Badge Man, but they need a boomer) Can't wait to see Hooker in the preseason.
  24. more likely to get "F_CK-PA-TRIC-A clap-clap-clap-clap-clap"
