Since the league is fixed and they've already determined it's Baltimore vs. San Francisco in the Super Bowl, I just want the Lions to show well. Of the 4 teams left I think the majority of this country is pulling for the Lions, but as someone posted a shot of a TV guide description of Ravens vs. Niners and since we know predetermined final is based on the color of the Super Bowl logo, all we'll have left after Sunday is our pride. Next year, based on the logo, it's Baltimore vs. either Green Bay or Philadelphia. (unless another AFC team goes with Purple). Hoping Super Bowl 60 has some Honolulu Blue in the logo. It ain't scripted, but it is fixed. Just watch how many calls go against us in really big moments Sunday, you'll swear we're in Dallas.

The fix is in. You'll see it Sunday night. There will be 3 or 4 ridiculous calls against the Lions.

Dan Campbell was right. The Lions just beat two teams who were red-hot and already in playoff mode just to get qualified and they beat 'em both. Why couldn't they win another one? And to think - this team isn't at their peak yet. I'll never question another draft by Holmes again. I am so sick of Patrick Mahomes. He doesn't do anything hateworthy (his brother and wife cover that), but it's like Tiger Woods -- enough already. I'm already sick of Charlie Woods. Media just sinks their teeth into certain people and can't let go.

As Have you ever worked in a job where you were micromanaged? Did it make you a better worker? Hell no. It makes you constantly look over your shoulder and constantly try to be perfect and it sucks the joy out of what you do. You can't be you, you have to be someone else's version of you. Goff is having fun now and it shows (and yep, he's gonna make a "what the hell was he thinking?" play (got away with one of those early yesterday), but if he was constantly afraid to make a mistake, we wouldn't be here right now.

Don't think it takes that long. Remember how great the Steelers were in the Mid 70s. If you had told anyone they'd be that prior to 1971 people would have thrown you in the looney bin. (or the Rooney bin). It can change quickly. It did for the Saints too.

But the Lions are the last team that existed SINCE the first Super Bowl to never have played in it. The original Browns got there several times and the new Browns have only existed since 1999.
