Yeah, we all speculated he must have been fairly bad off the way he sounded recently. But he did was he loved and the inability to do it at all must have been crushing. I am guessing Andy Dirks (if he's on tonight) will be breaking out the Price-ism in his honor

Nice man with a million stories, some he could never tell on the air. I just talked it about it on the air in Ann Arbor. I ended my break with "Jim Price was from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.......nice area". I think most people would take that as a tribute and not a joke.

It had more to do with the radio station than Bo. And it wasn't over the contract. Someone at the radio station wanted that gig, but then when they saw the anger, they decided to let someone else step into that hornet's nest and wait a couple of years. The Tigers really didn't employ Harwell, but had the final say and Bo did what the radio station wanted because he was friends with the guy who wanted to take over. It was all pretty dirty (I am intentionally not using names). I don't like defending Bo. He was rotten to the core. Most college football coaches are. We treat them like Gods when all they are really users and abusers. What he allowed Dr. Anderson to do is unforgivable and the Blue Wall should be ashamed for shutting out the victims, one of which wouldn't submit to a prostate exam his entire life and wound up getting prostate cancer and almost found out too late. One of Bo's star players in his time. They smeared his own step son for coming forward too (but he was on drugs..........gee, I wonder why he'd turn to drugs after what happened to him). Then they embraced his real son who seemed to think slavery was a good thing. It's gross.

The equivalent would be every time I do a break on the radio without messing up if I ran over to the other station and got in their face about how great I was. I mean, every base hit he's flapping his gums. Can't stand him.

If anything it points out what an amazing job you've done by turning this team into one of the best in baseball. It just make Orioles ownership look awful. Is that the rule with all the teams now, be "rah-rah" no matter what? Because that would be pretty sickening (and it's one of the reasons most of us can't stand Craig Monroe as a broadcaster).

I kind of get both, but when you put guys out there who clearly aren't goin to get it done, I think you send a message that it's okay to lose. It's not. Have a bullpen day. Do something other than this thing which really hasn't worked all year. This team's management can be infuriating sometimes.

The Baltimore Orioles suspended a TV host for commenting how long it's been since they were good. WHAT? I saw the segment, it's not a criticism, he's merely stating facts. This is awful. I would rather have this guy an Rah-Rah C-Mo any day. Weak, Orioles. Tigers - hire this guy and allow him to tell the truth. I put on a Yacht Rock mix this morning on Spotify. I've gotten to the point in my life when I am no longer ashamed to admit that I love Yacht Rock. I also love funk, punk, indie, rock, jazz, bossa nova and classical, but anyway, during the Yacht Rock mix the song Sharing The Night Together by Dr. Hook came on and I never liked that song, but now, thanks to the movie "El Camino" it makes me think of that creepy Todd Alquist (Jesse Plemons) because he loved that song and now the song kinda gives me the creeps.

Reminds me of Keysawn Johnson vs. the Lions in his rookie year. He made a catch for a first down and got up and made this ridiculous gesture..........the Jets were 0-8 at the time. The network announcer called him out on that, too.

The dogwhistle racism of much of the Republican party since Nixon used the Southern Strategy was not enough. They need it shouted from a bullhorn and that's why he will never go below a certain point with popularity. It sucks. I hate being in a country with so much promise that is bogged down with so much hate. None of that hate advances the people who wrap themselves in it and it goes against absolutely everything that the one they all claim to worship preached. Took Ireland a century to finally be done with that kind of ****e and now there's a solid peace there, the safest country in Europe. It's no longer a fragile peace, it's real and the ones on each side there that still preach hate are all a bunch of bitter old men and nobody wants to hear them anymore. Feels like we're a long way off from getting there.

You know what wouldn't surprise me at this point? If Dump wound up "hiring" a private militia to surround Mar-A-Lago. I only put hiring in quotes because he'd never pay them, because he never pays anyone, because he doesn't have anywhere close to the money he claims. That if the feds want to get Dump, they'll have to risk a firefight and you better believe he would be more than willing to put innocent people (aka guests at his resort) at risk and use them as human shields. Why do people believe a player needs to be older to be a DH. If he is a good enough OBP guy but he can't field a lick, then use him the way he should be used and don't try to force it. He'd have to learn so much to be a Catcher that it would probably distract him from improving as a hitter. He's just a DH that can fill in the corners in the OF when they need it.

Wow, Didn't hear that. I hope he can work it out, but I remember Nick Esasky (who, if I remember right, was pretty comparable to Meadows hitting-wise). Esasky never came back from the Vertigo issue.
