I'm really impressed with O'Hara. I really only ever watched her in Home Alone and this is such a different character. She really has a lot of range. I've always like Eugene Levy so I'm not sure how I didn't get around to this sooner.

And republicans aren't turning out. The New York election was the first one in a long time that was actually competitive so that is why there was a higher turnout.

Not sure what New York city's election has to do with it. This was the first time it was a three way race with two Dem candidates so of course the turnout was going to be higher. If you want to use the New York election, the Republican in the election Sliwa, got half the number of votes he got in the previous election despite the much higher turnout.

I mean, you take control by flipping Trump +17 districts like this one which was literally in Texas. This is the left. Always find a way to dismiss Democrats success and wonder why approval for Dems is so low.

Dems have over performed every single election since Trump took over, even high turnout ones like Virginia and New Jersey. Leave it to Dems to always tell us why their successes aren't really successes.
