  1. Apparently Gibbs may have posted some of the Lions audibles and protections on social media.
  2. He always has a look on his face like he has just been pepper sprayed.
  3. Matt Eberflus is available if Ohio State is thinking of firing Day.
  4. Wingo out for the season, Paschal and Levi day to day, Moseley should be good to go.
  5. I understand, and it makes sense to hurry and run a play on 3rd down. Eberflus said they wanted to run the play at 18 seconds. When that doesn't happen, Eberflus needs to also have a contingency plan. He needs to call the timeout at around 12 seconds if the ball isn't snapped. You then need to call something to the sidelines or the end zone. If that doesn't work, kick the long FG. No way a coach should let that game end with a timeout in his pocket and not even attempting a FG. If Caleb dances around with 12 seconds and screws it up, at least you did everything you could as coach.
  6. The Bears only had one timeout. They would need to run something out of bounds.
  7. On that personal foul by Williams, you can see Stevenson stuck out his leg and tripped Williams. That's why he flipped the ball at him. https://bsky.app/profile/nickbaumgardner.bsky.social/post/3lc4kldkxmk2w
  8. The 2022 Vikings give them a run for their money.
  9. How do the Chiefs keep winning these games?
  10. Eberflus said the plan was to snap the ball at 18 seconds. When it isn't snapped at 12 seconds, you call timeout. You go to plan B, which could either be a quick hitter to the sideline or a shot to the endzone. If both fail, you have a second chance for either a long field goal or another shot to the end zone. There is no way a coach should just stand and watch his team run out the clock.
  11. Keep in mind the Raiders have missed two field goals.
  12. Eberflus needs to call a timeout and go to plan B. It's insane a coach lets the clock expire down 3 without using a timeout or attempting a FG.
  13. Ben Johnson has no history of developing a young QB. He took a veteran QB who had previous success and built him back up. This offense relies a lot on Goff making presnap reads and throwing with timing and anticipation. Will that work with a young QB?
  14. The Raiders started this game with Ameer Abdullah as their starting RB.
  15. Vildor only allowed two catches for 14 yards. That pass interference penalty was total BS. He actually played well this game.
  16. If they beat the Packers, they pretty much eliminate them from the division. Green Bay and Minnesota still play, so one of them will lose. A win against the Packers would be huge because it would help in conference tiebreakers and division tiebreakers.
  17. If Davis comes back, I still think this defense is better than the defense that ended the season last year.
  18. If you are going to make wholesale changes, now would be the time, like Sheila did in 2020. You give yourself a headstart on your GM search and putting together candidates.
  19. Alexander has a 90 PFF grade in the few snaps he's played this year. He played for the Saints when Glenn and Campbell were there, so he's familiar with the system.
  20. I think it's funny a team that never fires coaches midseason sends him out there to do a press conference and then fires him.
