  1. Never Trumpers, Podcast bros, and mega donors pushed out the greatest president of my lifetime. Democrats who I used to respect ****ed him over. The stakes are too high and I will vote for Harris but I won't forget.
  2. It has to be Harris. She would have access to all the campaign infrastructure. She can run on Biden's record and Biden can campaign for her. I don't see any other logical option.
  3. Dems need to have their virtual roll call as soon as possible and nominate Harris.
  4. That would be the play but we don't even have a candidate for the next month to attack Trump.
  5. Well telling him to sit down and shut up won't work.
  6. Yeah Dems look like they are going to **** it up even more.
  7. I hope these spineless Dems are ready to fight when the attacks on Kamala Harris start.
  8. Well the coup was successful. **** this party. I'll vote for whoever is opposing Trump.
  9. Since Aaron Sorkin is throwing out the Dems should nominate Mitt Romney.
  10. It would be career suicide if Whitmer took the nomination. Perhaps these rat****ers should have pushed Biden out before the primary and had Whitmer run and make her case for why she should be the nominee instead of plotting a coup.
  11. I noticed this was buried in a Justin Rogers mailbag. Seems part speculation and part based on soources. "I've talked to some people in Decker's circle who seemed encouraged by early talks, and I believe Holmes has every intention of keeping the roster's strength intact. I don't know when it happens, but I believe the sides eventually come together on a deal, likely on the shorter side, such as a two-year pact."
  12. Because he's held to a different standard than Biden.
  13. Trump wants everyone to think he was shot when we was actually hit by glass.
  14. I’m sure publicly trashing your nominee instead of focusing on your opponent will. Good job Dems.
  15. A poll has Biden down 6 in Florida. Abortion is going to be on the ballot. Social security and Medicare will be as well. I also wonder how this ageism plays in Florida? I think Florida will be closer than people think. I'm not ready to say Biden will win it but I think people will be surprised. That is of course if Dems get out of their own way.
  16. A Democrat needs to turn out black vote. It's the base of the party. Buttigieg struggled mightily with black voters. He needs to prove he can turn out black voters or nothing else matters.
  17. Voters are concerned about Biden's diminished state despite him currently doing the job well. They'll instead vote for the guy with a literal worm in his brain who eats dogs or the guy who can't stay awake, slurs his words, and has a fetish for Hannibal Lecter.
  18. If Buttigieg wants to be president, he should run for governor of Michigan in 2026. Prove he can win the black vote in Detroit and then maybe he will have a chance.
  19. Buttigieg got destroyed by the black vote. He was ahead of Biden after Iowa and New Hampshire but got killed in South Carolina. It would be an unmitigated disaster. The ageism that is accepted is pretty shocking. Biden is doing the job better than his predecessors but needs to be discarded because he is old and therefore useless.
  20. Here's the upstanding Josh Hawley calling for Christian Nationalism. "We are a nation forged from Augustine's vision," he said. "A nation defined by the dignity of the common man as given to us in the Christian religion, a nation held together by the homely affections articulated in the Christian faith: love for family, love for neighbor, home and country. "I'm sure some will say now that I am calling America a Christian nation. And so I am. And some will say that I am advocating Christian nationalism. And so I do... my question is, is there any other kind worth having?" Hawley went on to say that "the truth is, Christian nationalism is not a threat to American democracy." He claimed that American democracy was founded by Christian nationalism. It is "the best form of democracy yet devised, it is the most just the most free, the most humane, and the most praiseworthy," he added. "The Christian political tradition is our political tradition. It is the American political tradition." https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/josh-hawley-doubles-down-on-christian-nationalism-remarks/ar-BB1pJ5iE
