    I'm reminded of the Cowboys-49ers playoff game a couple years ago where the Cowboys ran a QB draw but it took too long and the clock ran out before they could spike it.

    Kansas City needed a last second FG to beat Carolina. The Bears, even after this loss, have a positive point differential. They don’t get blown out.

    The Lions were basically playing with a second string defense. They could only hold up so long. They will be fine if they get healthy.

    They couldn’t clock it. That would be 4th down. I get what they were trying to do, but when they aren’t executing, have to call a timeout.

    When Eberflus sees Caleb taking too long, he needs to call the timeout. When you have a rookie QB, sometimes you need to intervene.

    I understand what they were trying to do and would do the same thing if it were the Lions, but when Caleb was taking too long he needs to call a timeout. He can’t just rely on his rookie QB to have good clock management.

    A win today eliminates the Bears from the division. A win next week against the Packers basically eliminates the Packers from the division.
