  1. We are facing the most consequential election in our lifetime. Our democracy is in peril. Anyone voting and supporting Joe Biden is an ally. I don't give a **** if it is Bill Clinton, Liz Cheney, or Hanibal Lecter. Enough of these purity contests. We did them in 2016 and it has done great damage.
  2. **** me, more purity contests.
  3. I'm not even sure what the argument is, but that Tweet got 266,000 views. CNN, Fox, and MSNBC all achieved over 32 million viewers in January.
  4. Meh, independents love that bipartisanship. It's not going to shake up the election but it could be won or lost on the edges.
  5. Nate Silver would be creaming his shorts if Biden went 17 days between campaign events.
  6. Next time anyone complains about what the media covers we can be like it's on Twitter so it don't matter.
  7. Maybe the New York Times just capitulated to the protestors? "MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Hours after pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed the New York Times printing facility in Queens, more than 100 demonstrators were arrested outside the newspaper's headquarters in Midtown. Approximately 150 people flooded the lobby of the Times building in Midtown on Thursday morning around 10 a.m. Police say 124 people were taken into custody. Most will likely receive summonses for disorderly conduct. Those who weren't arrested were standing outside the building and chanting, claiming the newspaper's coverage of the Israel Hamas War was resulting in deaths in Gaza. They also handed out fake copies of the Times to people walking by. It came hours after protesters prevented trucks from accessing the Times' 300,000-square-foot printing facility in College Point, Queens, by blocking the roads with debris around 1 a.m. Many laid down in a chain, connecting to each other with tubes. They held signs that read, "Stop the presses. Free Palestine" and "Consent for genocide is manufactured here." They also created a pile of rubble with office equipment to further block access. The action stopped dozens of trucks from picking up newspapers, creating gridlock on nearby streets. The protesters refused to disperse for about two hours before clearing the way at around 3:30 a.m. The facility is responsible for printing the New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Newsday, and the New York Post. There are 27 printing facilities across the country. The Times said in a statement that readers should expect "minimal disruption" from the protest" Pro-Palestinian protesters arrested outside NY Times building hours after printing plant demonstration in Queens - ABC7 New York (abc7ny.com)
  8. Bush's silence is disappointing. As the only living Republican outside of Trump, it would be nice for him to show solidarity with democracy.
  9. What exactly are they even protesting about now?
  10. Not interested in your strawman about a war that ended 13 years ago and has nothing to do with this. If you do want to relate 9/11 to this, it would be like immediately after 9/11 if a bunch of radicals in London protested Americans and businesses and harassed the Queen to demand a ceasefire even though she has called for one and doesn't control the US. Then they vote uncommitted and threaten democracy in their country.
  11. Cool story bro.
  12. Biden’s rapid response social media team does not mess around.
  13. Harassment and death threats to Jewish students by Pro Palestine protesters.
  14. To be clear, Hamas should be pressured to accept the ceasefire. What is happening is not a genocide. The Israeli people will need to deal with Bibi. Demanding Hamas accept the ceasefire does not equal support for Bibi. You know, nuance. A separate issue is that there is a growing radicalization within these pro Palestine protesters. Once again, nuance.
  15. Jerry Seinfeld thing was the least concerning but you seemed to think I was lying or making things up. It's just one example of pro Palestinian protestors protesting a random Jew. There are other examples but I feel you are just going to dismiss them all.
  16. Yeah we need more nuance about protesting Jewish hospitals and Holocaust museums.
  17. I mean, the group that organized the Holocaust museum protest tweeted out a call for protestors. There is a growing radicalization in the US with these protestors and they consistently target Jews that have nothing to do with the war. You seem pretty dismissive of it but I suspect you wouldn't be if they were wearing red hats.
  18. This one is close to home for Chas. Here's pro Palestinian protestors booing during a Holocaust remembrance day resolution. BTW, good thing the mayor of Chicago got that ceasefire resolution passed. I'm sure that did a lot. https://abc7chicago.com/israel-hamas-war-chicago-city-council-holocaust-remembrance-day-resolution/14356984/
  19. Protest outside Holocaust museum in Los Angeles. Bonus coverage of violent pro Palestine protests in Berkeley leading to police having to evacuate students through underground tunnels. Hopefully the NBC affiliate in Los Angeles is to your standard.
  20. Not the US, but equally concerning. Hopefully CNN is to your liking. Israeli President Herzog opens Holocaust museum in Amsterdam amid domestic protest | CNNIsraeli President Herzog opens Holocaust museum in Amsterdam amid domestic protest | CNN
