Lions only have one outdoor game after Thanksgiving and that is against Chicago. Most of their tough road games are by October. End of schedule looks easier.

Same old Lions getting only two holiday games.

I mean, the Lions just got the Fox game of the week on opening day and we already know the Lions are playing on a holiday. The Lions will have multiple Monday Night, Sunday Night, and possibly a Thursday Night. They’ll have some afternoon starts as well.

The Lions were the most watched team last year. Those holiday games attract viewers regardless of the team. They’re saving the Lions for when they need viewers.
